I reached out to the company and they were able to respond swiftly but still was able to reach the driver. I had someon

Good morning! My driver never showed up for my pickup. He contacted 1:30 later to tell me that he was there. I was in a Taxi going to my destination. Unfortunately, I had to leave the airport. I was too tired to stand there.

Response from the operator: We’re very sorry to hear this regarding your booking. We’d like to look into what happened with your pickup and assist you properly. Could you please provide us with your booking number so our team can review the details of your case? Our sincere apologies again for the inconvenience caused.

    Excellent service, highly recommended!!!

Excellent service. We communicated before arriving in the Dominican Republic. Upon our arrival, José had to wait for us at the airport because our flight was delayed. He communicated with us at all times and was attentive to our departure. On the way to the hotel, he gave us a mini city tour with explanations and even sang typical songs for us. The service from MyTransfer is highly recommended; they fulfilled everything.

    Horrible ride

I was very disappointed with this ride. I had already paid for the trip to the hotel from the airport , but when I told him that the original hotel had canceled due to it being full he told me it would be another $35 cash which I did not have. The driver did not speak any English which was fine but it made it very difficult to communicate. He kept handing me his phone while he was driving and texting and driving extremely erratic and dangerous. I ended up giving him $20 cash. But the ride was horrible and I was filled with anxiety thinking we were going to crash.

Response from the operator: We sincerely apologize for the experience you had during your transfer. Regarding the destination change, please understand that for last-minute modifications requested within 24 hours of the service, we reserve the right to apply additional charges, as these updates are not covered in the original booking. However, we take your feedback regarding the driver's conduct and safety very seriously. To investigate this matter further and take the necessary steps, please provide us with your booking number. Your safety and peace of mind are our priorities, and we want to look into this thoroughly.

    Don’t expect anything special

Not great not bad. As good as getting an uber. Waited outside for like 10 minutes for the driver. The guy who loaded the bags demanded a tip before the car even arrived. He said “prepare tip”

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the wait time and, more importantly, for the inappropriate behavior regarding the tip request. This does not reflect our service standards. We would like to investigate this matter further. Could you please provide your booking number?

    Never again

After this I am officially done with Viator. No flexibility, no service, no English. Highly NOT recommended

Response from the operator: We regret that you did not have a good experience with our service. Please provide your booking number so that we can assist you

How much does Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City) cost?

    +

Prices start at $11 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santo Domingo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City) take?

    +

Plan for about 0.6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santo Domingo is not rushed.

Is Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (2.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santo Domingo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Santo Domingo Airport (SDQ) Arrival Transfer (Airport to Santo Domingo City)?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santo Domingo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santo Domingo and add a light layer if any part of the 0.6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Santo Domingo?

    +

On Outty we rank every Santo Domingo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hiking Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall in Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo The Authentic Dominican Neighborhood Tour, Santo Domingo: City Highlights Guided Bike Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Santo Domingo?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Santo Domingo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
