2. A green lung in the middle of the modern city This beautiful park is located in the commune of Vitacura, which extends along the southern bank of the Mapocho River. It was designed by the architect and landscape designer Teodoro Fernández and has different landscapes, play spaces, statues, sports areas, lagoons and much more. What to see in Bicentennial Park? The best thing is to walk along its paths and visit its two lagoons, where black-necked swans, flamingos, herons and fish coexist. The park has an amphitheater where musicals, plays and other shows are performed, and an exclusive international restaurant called Mestizo, located next to this Hop On Hop Off stop. A few steps away, you will find Alonso de Córdova Street, known for its luxury brand stores, national design and exclusive restaurants. 3. Teleferico Santiago by Turistik

   The best view of Santiago from above An incredible panorama of the Santiago Cable Car, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the capital. The initial station, “Oasis Station”, is reached through the Pedro de Valdivia access, minutes from the Hop On Cable Car Stop (Walking along Av. Pedro de Valdivia Norte). What to see at Parada Cable Car? The No. 1 attraction in Santiago, the Cable Car will allow you to go directly to the top of San Cristóbal Hill (Cumbre Station), where the image of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception and Bellavista Terrace is located, which stands out for its view of the city and the classic motes con huesillo to freshen up the ride. 4. Funicular de Santiago by Turistik

   Funicular A trip in a heritage elevator This Hop On stop connects you with the spectacular Santiago Funicular, located in the Metropolitan Park better known as “Cerro San Cristóbal”, the largest in Latin America and the green lung of Santiago. The Funicular, declared a Historical Monument in 2000, Nono stands out for its neo-Gothic style, designed by the architect Luciano Kulczewski, and the Funicular cars, recently restored, that climb to the top of Cerro San Cristóbal. What to see at the Santiago Funicular stop? It is definitely worth getting on one of the cars and enjoying the great view of the city. 5. Get to know the Historic Center of Santiago The Plaza de Armas, founded in 1541 by Pedro de Valdivia, represents the true heart of the capital, located in the historic center of the city. This type of plaza exists throughout Chile. When the Spanish established cities, they used that point as the axis of their grid plans. It was originally a military training camp and strategic center for the expansion of the Spanish conquest. Over time, the square became the administrative, commercial and social nucleus of Santiago and the buildings of the most important institutions of the time were built in its surroundings. What to see in Plaza de Armas? 6. La Moneda

   Visit the Palacio de la Moneda and surroundings The Plaza de la Constitución, in front of the Palacio de la Moneda, in the Civic Neighborhood of Santiago. Around this square you will find the most important buildings and monuments linked to the executive power of the State of Chile. The Palacio de la Moneda, seat of the Presidency, was built between 1784 and 1805 by the Italian architect Joaquín to be the Royal Mint. In the square there are five statues of national political figures: Diego Portales, Pedro Aguirre Cerda, Jorge Alessandri, Eduardo Frei Montalva and Salvador Allende. What to see in Plaza de la Constitución? At this Hop On stop you can explore the Civic Quarter and its buildings, such as the Palacio de la Moneda and the La Moneda Cultural Center, which has different art exhibitions. 7. Cerro Santa Lucia

   An iconic hill of the city Cerro Santa Lucía has been one of the most relevant points since the founding of Santiago. The monumental neoclassical entrance to the hill was completed in 1902 and harmonizes around a sculpture of the God Neptune, an entire architectural complex with curved staircases, pools, a large terrace and a triumphal arch topped by a dome. The complex constitutes a very evocative image of the lifestyle of Santiago's high society at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. What to see in Saint Lucia? From this Hop On stop you can see and explore Santa Lucía Hill, the National Library, the Paris-London neighborhood, the San Francisco del Monte church, and the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center. 8. Plaza De La Aviacion

   Tour Providencia and its parks The Plaza de la Aviación is an extension of Balmaceda Park, which was created in 1929 as part of the old Japanese Park, designed by the Austrian landscape designer Óscar Prager. It receives its name in honor of the monument of Strength. Additionally, in the square you will find the Bicentenario fountain, inaugurated in 2005 by the Municipality of Providencia. What to see in Plaza de la Aviación?
