Unprofessional and disappointing service from KATAMAR(Operador turístico)
We booked a private 3.5-hour tour with Katamar weeks in advance, expecting a private car, a knowledgeable guide, and—most importantly—safety. Unfortunately, the service delivered was nothing like what was promised. Despite confirming before the agreed pick-up time (9:00 a.m.), they informed us they would be late. Finally, at 10:10 a.m., a regular taxi showed up, hired last minute for only 2 hours. The driver was kind and professional as a taxi driver, but he was not a tour guide, nor prepared to provide the experience we paid for. Instead of a secure and professional service, we ended up with something we could have arranged ourselves by simply hailing a taxi on the street. Katamar showed a complete lack of organization and seriousness. Very disappointing experience.

A must see if you go to Santa Marta...
I would definitely recommend this excursion and especially Nestor and his driver I can't remember his name. Anyway the tour was very informative and seeing Simon Bolivar estate is a must in Santa Marta. We also toured the town and many beautiful and churches. Communication and timing were perfect and they sent us a picture of the car and identity so we could see it once we got off the ship and went to the location it was safe and easy to spot. Nestor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you for making this a memorable trip .
Response from the operator: Thank you for your glowing review of our Santa Marta City Tour! We're thrilled Nestor and our driver provided a safe and informative experience. Exploring Simon Bolivar estate and the town's treasures with impeccable communication made it a truly memorable journey. We appreciate your recommendation! - Impulse Travel Team
