Unique experience for animal lovers
Loved this tour! The guides were great and so nice; the horses were beautiful; well-cared for and socialized; and the beach was stunning! The swim was amazing and a truly one of a kind experience. Would recommend for animal lovers and anyone looking to do something truly unique. Thank you Jessica and team for a great time we will never forget!

Lots of Fun!
Had a very memorable experience and would highly recommend to anyone! The staff was very friendly and tried very hard to make it a memorable experience. They also did a greay job covering safety and ensuring the kids knew how to handle horses as it was a new experience for them. Would highly recommend!

Bucket List Experience
My family of 4 had a fantastic time. Quick ride from port, bathrooms, beautiful beach, and the horses! Animals were well taken care of and guides were great. If you want to ride horses in the ocean and not be at one of the commercialized places with all the other cruise passengers, this one is for you!

Fabulous experience!
Myself, my partner and our three boys all loved this experience. The guides were helpful and the horses were too! We would all definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

Favorite excursion
We booked ahead of a cruise and to our delight, this was our favorite excursion. We were picked up promptly from the Falmouth cruise port and enjoyed an air conditioned drive through the winding hills of Jamaica while chatting with our driver. At the stable, we had access to restrooms and shaded seating areas. We were debriefing on how to ride, where we could go, what to bring etc. Helmets are recommended and provided but not mandatory. A small bag or fanny pack is allowed but avoid big bags that could fall and startle the horses. I brought my camera as well. We formed a line with our horses and went on wide trails to the beach and back. This was maybe 45 min. We then dismounted, took a rest, and whoever was interested in an ocean swim on a horse mounted and entered the water. It was maybe 5ft deep and not a concern for those who cannot swim. Floatation devices are available for anyone who desires one. It was a magical experience being on the back of a horse while wading through the water. The water ride was maybe 5 minutes. We were invited to hang out at the beach and chairs provided. We ended up chatting with the owner and a few others before heading back. SAFETY: We felt safe during our drive and excursion and I would recommend it for females traveling in groups or solo. At no time were we concerned for our safety, which hasn't been the case on other excursions and in other countries. TIME: We were picked up at 8:30am from the port. It took 30 min to get there. We started around 9:30am. The trail ride was about 45 min. The sea ride was about 5 min. This doesnt sound like much but it felt just right for us. We were a little sore for a few days! We could have headed back around 11:30am. We chatted with everyone, enjoyed the beach and left at 12:30pm. We were back at the port by 1pm for shopping and lunch. There was an option to stop at a restaurant on the way back but we opted to enjoy the beach at the stable propwrty instead. PRO TIP: Check out the sealife along the bank with 6 trees (beside the stable). There are sea urchins, sea anemone, and beautiful tropical fish. WHAT TO BRING: Pack a bathing suit and change into it after the trail ride. A towel, if you want. Camera or phone for photos. Close-toed shoes are recommended but some people were wearing sandals and skirts/shorts. Sunglasses. Reefsafe Sunscreen - we like 'Pipette Mineral Sunscreen - SPF 50 Broad Spectrum Baby Sunblock with Non-Nano Zinc' from Amazon. Tip money. Bug spray wasnt necessary for us but others applied it.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Falmouth.
How much does Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth cost?
+
Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Falmouth usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Falmouth is not rushed.
Is Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Falmouth, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Falmouth can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Falmouth and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sand n Saddle Horseback Ride & Swim Tour from Falmouth start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Falmouth within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Falmouth?
+
On Outty we rank every Falmouth experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ATV Jungle Safari Tour from Montego Bay, Jamaica Culture Tour: Culinary, Cultural, History and Dance, Chuck Norris Secret Falls and Dunn's River Falls. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Falmouth?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Falmouth?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
