Good but somehow underwhelmed
The trip was good, but main problem was entrance fees for locals v foreigners. In the UK for all visitor attractions are same both local and foreign. Seems a lot unfair when prices are so different. Also if you couldn't book online you had to pay at gate and our guide paid but everyone paid differently for same sight with no special treatment or extra. People not local to area should be advised at least 1 to 2 hour early arrival incase of accidents and congestion in the mornings. Also maybe split tour up over 2 days so you. An spend longer and look at local art and curios as the day did seem a bit rushed and would have been interested in helping to support local sellers.
Response from the operator: Dear 843lyns, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent trip to Sanbona Game Reserve with our private transfers from Cape Town. We appreciate your insights and are glad to hear that the trip was good overall. We understand your concerns regarding the differences in entrance fees for locals versus foreigners. As the transfer service provider, we don't set the pricing policies and encourage you to address any issues regarding entrance fees directly with Sanbona. Your feedback about the booking procedures and arrival times is important and can help improve future experiences for guests. We also appreciate your suggestion about splitting the tour over two days to allow for a more leisurely pace and to explore local art and curios—this is valuable feedback that we'll consider for future operations. Thank you once again for your comments, and we hope you had memorable moments during your time at Sanbona. Best regards, Amy Daniels General Manager

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
