An amazing, chilled and brilliant tour

Vincent was an absolutely amazing tour guide, he was punctual (lovely car by the way) and really accommodating. The tour was extremely relaxed and we got to see a great amount of San Diego. The day was brilliant and we would highly recommend, if we are back in LA we will be looking him up again!

Response from the operator: Thank you, it was a fun time in San Diego and great weather!

    Great private tour

Absolutely wonderful private tour. I contacted Vincent a few days before I flew and he has availability and sorted the whole thing out for me very quickly. As a solo female it is important to have a trustworthy guide and Vincent is exactly that. He was also super knowledgable and chatty which was great. We went to a whole bunch of sites but he also adapted the day around what I wanted to and was flexible which I appreciated. I will use Vincents company again when I am back in LA for another full day tour. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your recommendation! It was really nice meeting you.

First time in San Diego with Vincent

It was an incredible experience by discovering San Diego for the fist time with Vincent for few reasons… first of all he is a really good driver which is reassuring, secondly he is really interesting and funny so we had a really great time with Vincent. Finally, it was so cool to discover San Diego with viennent because he shows us like « secret » places which is really cool. We recommend to book this tour with Vincent !!

Response from the operator: Thanks, means a lot to hear that!

    Private Beach Tour

We were flying into LAX on an early morning flight with tickets to Disneyland the next day. Because we toured Los Angeles previously, we were looking for another part of the area to see before traveling to Anaheim. That's when I came across Vincent's webpage. I reached out regarding him picking us up at the airport, spending a day touring the beaches of the area and then bringing us to Disneyland. I was concerned with luggage and his willingness to accommodate. He quickly responded with a willingness to do so and a proposed plan which we booked. The day was perfect. Vincent was invited without being overbearing; knowledgeable, and interesting. He took us to a farm to table restaurant for lunch which was quite good. In the late afternoon, he drove us over to Anaheim for the next leg of our trip. We highly recommend him!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! I'm always happy to accommodate and make the experience custom to your needs.

San Diego Private Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Angeles.

How much does San Diego Private Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $849 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Angeles usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does San Diego Private Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Angeles is not rushed.

Is San Diego Private Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Los Angeles, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule San Diego Private Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is San Diego Private Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book San Diego Private Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Angeles can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Angeles and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does San Diego Private Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Angeles within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Angeles?

    +

Los Angeles rewards travellers who cluster their bookings by geography rather than by theme. Studio tours and Hollywood walks sit inland, the Malibu and Santa Monica coast runs west, and Griffith Observatory and the canyon hikes work best at dawn or dusk. We weight transport clarity in the ranking here: whether pickup is included changes an LA day more than the tour itself. On Outty we rank every Los Angeles experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Hollywood Sign 2.5-Hour Tour with Comedians and Their Dogs, Los Angeles Hollywood Sign Hike: Front, Behind, and Expert Guide, Los Angeles Original 90-Minute Walking Tour to The Hollywood Sign. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Angeles?

    +

March to May and September to November, for clear air and open canyon roads. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Angeles?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
