A trip from Delhi to Agra by train with 2 nights in Agra.
We are a retired Finnish couple visiting India for the first time. We contacted Nomads Namaste and told about our plans: by train to Agra and 2 nights in Agra with visits to the local monuments with guidance. The Nomads Namaste tour operator arranged for us a pick-up from our hotel in Delhi to the train station, a return ticket by train to Agra and pick- up from Agra station to our hotel Trident. Our tour guide Abdul welcomed us warmly. He took good care of us and showed good knowledge in telling about the monuments and in answering to our questions about life in India. On the first day we visited Agra Fort and Baby Taj and also saw Taj Mahal at sunset from distance. We also saw local handicraft, carpet weaving. The next morning we experienced Taj Mahal at sunrise and could admire the monument at site. After breakfast we were brought to Fatehpur Sikri. Our driver was a nice man skilfully driving in the chaotic traffic. Our hotel Trident was a cosy and clean hotel which met up to our expectations. Our contact person at the tour organizer was in contact with us before the trip, during the trip and after the trip too. All the tour arrangements went smoothly and on time as agreed upon. We had a wonderful visit to Agra. We can warmly recommend Nomads Namaste as a tour organiser. Helge & Riitta from Finland
Response from the operator: Dear Helge & Riitta, Thank you so much for your kind and detailed review! It was a pleasure to organize your Agra experience and we’re delighted to know that you enjoyed the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and the local experiences. We’re especially happy to hear that Abdul and our driver took good care of you and that everything went smoothly throughout your trip. Your recommendation means a lot to our entire team. We hope to welcome you back to India again in the future! Warm regards, Team Nomads Namaste 🇮🇳

Delhi experience with Athra
The guided Tour with Athra was a really great experience, first night we did some kind of streetfood hopping tour through Old Delhi, where we got some interesting new taste experiences and saw many new things and a completely other side of India. Next day we did a tour though Delhi via Rickshaw and visited some other different places to eat. This day we did a tour to Taj Mahal and were invited to eat together whit his family. The food was amazing!Definitely can recommend the Tour with him!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was a real pleasure hosting you and showing you around Delhi 😊 I’m really glad you enjoyed the street food experience in Old Delhi—it’s always special to share those hidden flavors and local spots. Exploring the city by rickshaw and discovering different food places together was equally fun, and I’m happy you liked that side of Delhi too. It means a lot that you joined us for the Taj Mahal trip and shared a meal with my family. We truly enjoyed having you with us, and I’m glad you loved the food! Thank you again for your recommendation. You’re always welcome back anytime—there’s still so much more to explore together!

One day trip Agra
Guide picks us from agra cantt station. We get water and drive to Taj Mahal. After that Baby Taj Mahal and Fort Agra. In between we get w meal connected with a snack (panipuri and some others) and big meal with birjani, tikka masala, chicken and some sweet food at the end. We got masala tea before going out from his home. His wife cooks really well and we eat good. All this time we felt cared, he made for us a lot of photo and the experience was very good, definitely worth of its price. Guide also take care to buy all tickets for us, Ive checked the price and what he took was basically almost the same what normal price of tickets. Definitely honest and worth service from him. Highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! 😊 We’re truly happy to hear that you had a great experience with us from the moment of pickup at Agra Cantt station to exploring the beauty of the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Itimad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj). It means a lot to us that you enjoyed the local food, snacks like pani puri, and the home-cooked meal—our family will be especially happy to hear your kind words about the cooking! We always aim to make our guests feel at home, so knowing you felt cared for throughout the day truly makes us proud. We also appreciate you mentioning the transparency in ticket pricing and the effort in capturing your memories through photos. Your trust and recommendation mean everything to us. Looking forward to welcoming you again in the future! 🙏✨

Why this scores 64
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.
How much does Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided cost?
+
Prices start at $2499 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.
Is Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 64 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Same Day Taj Mahal Tour from Delhi – Private & Guided start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in New Delhi?
+
On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit New Delhi?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in New Delhi?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
