Great experience. Worth visiting these ancient Coptic monasteries, where Chrisianity existed from 1st century onwards

Sacred Pilgrimage, pleasant and peaceful
Thank you so much for a wonderful trip. We began at 4am, right on time, and had a smooth trip to St Anthony’s, where I had plenty of time to climb the steps and pray in the sacred cave, followed by an interesting tour from a resident monk. Next, nearby St Paul’s where the tour was short and also interesting, from a friendly resident monk. Then a long drive back to Hurghada in time for an afternoon swim. Pleasant company all day long from my friendly driver. Absolutely recommended, especially for devout Christians for a once in a lifetime journey.

Both monasteries are nestled in the desert, creating an atmosphere of peace and reflection that is palpable from the moment you enter. Saint Anthony Monastery, known as the oldest Christian monastery in the world, was a real highlight. Walking through its ancient walls, I could feel the centuries of devotion and dedication. So holy
My day with Mina was exceptional! He is a very nice and kind person. He took his time to show me a lot of cairo and tell me all about its history.
