1. Le Thi Rieng Culture Park

Most of Vietnamese transportation in Vietnam's daily life are motorcycles and scooters. Step into the bustling streets of Vietnam, and as you sit on the back of our tour guide's motorcycle, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feel a mix of excitement and safety while navigating the chaotic traffic. Experience the famous local street foods along the way. We will go to an old park to taste "Banh Trang Tron" - Vietnamese Rice Paper Salad, a magical mix of crispy textures that’s incredibly refreshing and fun to eat as well as "Bo Bia", a fresh type of spring roll packed with vegetables. Continuing to another busy area, we will try"Banh Xeo" - Crispy Vietnamese Pancake (also known as sizzling cake), which are widely believed to have originated during the French Occupation of Vietnam. We will also sample "Trung Vit Lon" - Half-hatched Duck Eggs, considered a delicacy by many Vietnamese.

    2. Ho Chi Minh City

Next, we will stop to try some of Sai Gon’s famous "Oc" - Steamed and Roasted Snails - paired with local beer. It's common for Vietnamese, particularly men, to go for drinks with clients or friends after work. Locals typically enjoy their beer poured into a mug with ice, rather than directly from a cold bottle. Caution: To drive a motorbike in Vietnam, individuals must have a valid International Driving Permit (IDP), a temporary Vietnamese motorcycle license, or a Vietnamese driving license. Tour participants must ensure they have the proper documentation to comply with local laws.

    This is a totally disappointed...

This is a totally disappointed tour.. first, i understand many shops was close for the Tet. but when i book the tour no one warns me or advise me the tour will be totally different as the mention on the web. 2nd the tour guild was late and because the traffic was so busy that we need to walk 3km to get the motorbike. what I understand this is a food tour and we are a tourist. we don't know what to do and what to see. so we join this tour. anyway... our tour start from see the closed chinses temple in china town, flower market ..... and not really mention and tell us the local food information.... finally have a local seafood dinner.... that is our whole food tasting experience.... the seafood is nice but not the food tasting experience..... is this the tour company have a responsibility to tell the clients the tour will be totally different or nothing can see and taste during Tet?

After watching so many motorbikes in...

After watching so many motorbikes in Vietnam, my wife and I had a chance to finally ride one on this tour. I highly recommend this group if you're looking for a tour plus some delicious food that you may have been too nervous to order yourself. Pickup at our hostel was smooth and on-time. We got a chance to see some of the sights around the city before stopping at a few places to eat. We definitely went to some places that were authentically local and our guides did an excellent job of explaining everything to us.

Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Ho Chi Minh City.

How much does Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Ho Chi Minh City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Ho Chi Minh City is not rushed.

Is Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Ho Chi Minh City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Ho Chi Minh City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Sai Gon Night Motorcycle Food Tasting Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Ho Chi Minh City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Ho Chi Minh City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Adventure Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta Tour From HCM, Cu Chi Tunnels Small-Group Tour: Vietnam War Underground Network, Cu Chi underground tour - Learn Vietnam war with others. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Ho Chi Minh City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
