What a great tour we had in Tala Game Reserve

What a great tour we had in Tala Game Reserve, a really lovely place for the family. We saw rhino, giraffes, zebras, kudus, impalas, hippos and much more. Phezulu was exciting with African dances

Never again

Our trip was a very big disappointment. The launch was delayed by an hour, although we had clearly communicated our timing, as we were travelling on a cruise ship. The organizer completely ignored this and drove us out of plan to a lion park (which we did not book). But we didn't see anything from Tala Game Reserve. In addition, the driver did not communicate with us, which led to missing information. We often got stuck due to the vehicle, even in the lion enclosure, which was very disturbing. The approach to Tala Game Reserve was also chaotic, as the driver got lost several times. Instead of an exciting safari, we just experienced frustration. This tour was poorly organized and not recommended.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Durban?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Durban?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
