Amazing climbing experience with a great view and a great team
We had an amazing experience with many guides (William, Gonzo, Gato, to name a few of them). We got clear safety instructions and quickly started our climb. We were a group of 20 and had 5 guides among us. The climb was fun and not too difficult. The view was amazing! The ziplines were cool as well. There was a possibility of doing tandem ziplines if you were scared of going alone. The pick up and drop off service was great. All in all would definitely recommend! No climbing experience necessary.

Wow
A bit challenging for me but others did well in the tour. The guides, not great with names but he was mixed with Italian and his crew that day, were extremely helpful and checked on you throughout the tour. 10/10 if you’re in it for the zip lines

It was challenge.
Wonderful trip, delicious food, all guides made sure I felt safe and taking care off. Via Ferrara( first in my life) was to me challenging but totally doable. Zip lines greate. Overall it was a great day!

Go to key for some fun
My mother (85 years old) along with my daughter and I went to the Ark Encounter and zipped line there. We took the 1.5 hour one, worth every penny! I’d do it again. Going up the stairs was scarier than the zip line. The Ark was fantastic too, would recommend going, you’ll need to spend at least a day or two there especially if your zip lining too.

Unprofessional
My main annoyance is the fact me and my wife paid for the photo package and we have not received it - which should have been over a week ago. They have ignored our messages via what’s app and Instagram. We did have fun during the session but as a former Royal Air Force climbing instructor their practices were unsafe. In the UK it would not be acceptable … a couple of times my wife unclipped both her carabiners and if had fallen - game over. In the UK you always get them to practice on the ground before you climb. Not just a verbal instruction. If you are a kinesthetic learner and not an auditory learner (as I am) you are likely to make a mistake. It was fun but it’s really annoyed me the fact we paid for photos we haven’t received and as a climbing instructor in the UK can say they would not be allowed to operate as they are. Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sacred Valley Via Ferrata and Zipline with Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
