A Total Shambles!
This was a near 12h tour not half day as sold. Then I was told that lunch for me was not included as it was for the others on the group and I would have to pay the tour guide separately if I want to eat. Then the tour itself… They wasted to much time trying to take us to useless places like a Silver Jewellery shop to give us a talk on how they made items. Then took us to a local garment place to get us to buy items. The trouble was by the time we got out the garment place it was getting dark, cold and started raining. They could have taken us there last as it was indoor. Lastly, they didn’t drop us back to our hotel. Just the central point and told us all to make our own way back to our hotels. I’m not booking with you again.
Response from the operator: We regret to read your review and see that you did not like the tour, but since it is a shared tour there are some things that are not included and since it is a shared tour we leave you at a central point so that you can return.

11 hrs half day tour
This was advertised as a half day tour. It was 11 hours in total. I quest 12 hours is a half day. As I was with a group, I was stuck. They also had two gift shop stops that were not listed on the itinerary.
Response from the operator: The tour to the Sacred Valley is a long tour, it is impossible to finish early. We, like other travel agencies, do the same itinerary. If you had any other activity afterwards, you should have told us so we could suggest a solution.

Tour Guide was Great
I am giving this tour 5 Stars because of my tour guide Deanna. She was fantastic. Our lunch was top notch and delicious. Other than that there were not a ton of positives. The pickup was about 30 minutes later than communicated time. Try he transport van had no AC. Trip said we would arrive back in Cusco at 7pm. We did not arrive until 8:30 pm. I had another tour starting at 3 am so I was stressed about finding dinner and getting to bed on time. Give yourself time Incase you are 1.5 hrs late. (Lots of walking and climbing stairs at the sites you visit)

Sacred Valley half day tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Sacred Valley half day tour cost?
+
Prices start at $26 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sacred Valley half day tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Sacred Valley half day tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sacred Valley half day tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sacred Valley half day tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Sacred Valley half day tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sacred Valley half day tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
