So much in 1 Day!
We went so many different places in 1 day! We saw 5 of the most well known historical sites in the Sacred Valley as well as 3 different experiences 1. Salt & Chocolate Tasting at a store that sold it. 2. Inca traditional culture including watching them clean wool with a traditional root, dancing, and spinning llama yarn, then we could buy (I felt a little pressure to buy) 3.Traditional jewelry making with an option to buy at the jewelry shop. Lunch was included and it's the biggest buffet I ever saw and everything was delicious!!! Word to the wise: I went the day after I flew in and had major altitude sickness. I had to stop climbing and had to sit a lot. Give yourself a day or two to climatize. We walked an climbed steps all day. We were very tired at the end of the day, but it was worth it! Also close your eyes on some of the roads, they are very steep and narrow.
Response from the operator: Tiffany, Thank you for your detailed review of our Sacred Valley tour! We're glad you enjoyed the historical sites, cultural experiences, and the delicious buffet lunch.

My experience in Sacred Valley
The tour is spectacular. Each of the places visited has its own unique charm and beauty. The landscape and tranquility of nature made this an unforgettable trip. In addition, we had enough time at each stop to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings. The Guide had too much patience during the tour and the buffet lunch was varied and rich.
Response from the operator: ¡Muchas gracias Irvin por compartir tu experiencia!

I travelled solo for this...
I travelled solo for this trip and happened to finish off my cash the night before as i was in Machu Pichu. This tour started at 7am and i did not have the time to go to the ATM. And this tour is very tight on schedule and there is no ATM along the way, only in the city. My guide Alex was super helpful and he actually paid for my ticket first so i could give him back later by end of the day. It is a very kind gesture on him and thanks to him, i could manage to visit all the sites.
Response from the operator: Shirley; Thank you for recognize our the of pur Guide Alex , Our staff are comitment to provide an exceptional experience as much as they can, many things can happen. From our side We really recomend Peruvian Cash PEN, even nowaday are still the best pay option here!

Nice tour
Unfortunately I had to suspend and abandon the tour after lunch due to personal problems and I was not able to visit everything. Judging by what I visited, it was a fantastic tour, especially with the tour guy who was really fun and engaging. Of course, like many other tour operators, they make stops in some places to allow visitors to discover more about the Inca/Peruvian culture, but some of these places are just tourist traps , but it is not mandatory to purchase anything. I had some problems and they helped me find a taxi to leave the tour and go back to Cusco. I would still recommend this tour operator 100%!
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! Sorry to hear that personal problems cut your tour short, but we're glad to hear that the time you did spend with us was enjoyable. Our tour guides strive to be fun and engaging, and we're happy to hear that yours hit the mark! You're right, some stops may feel like tourist traps, but we try to strike a balance between cultural immersion and respecting our guests' time and budgets. We're also glad we could assist with your departure and get you back to Cusco safely. Despite the abbreviated tour, we appreciate your wholehearted recommendation and hope to serve you again in the future!

Potential improvements: - The tour includes visits to three different stores; weaving/textiles, salt/chocolate/coffee and jewellery. They all have very pushy selling tactics. These stores have the best products, no doubt about that, but the same goods can be found in Cusco for a much cheaper price. For example, a synthetic poncho costs 180 soles at the weaving factory but we bought the same poncho for 90 soles in Cusco. We bought 1 kg aromatic salt for 45 soles but found out the next day that the exact same brand and salt only costs 18 soles in San Pedro Market. It’s clear that this tour operator cooperates with the visited stores. - The visit to Maras Salt Mines only lasted around 15 minutes and we were only allowed to see Maras from far away at the highest viewpoint. Very disappointing. In addition, the cost for foreigners is 20 soles/person, not 10 soles as stated in the tour description. - Very stressful the whole day and especially to visit the last place (Pisac) before closing. The tour should maybe start earlier? - After a long day when we thought we had visited everything and thought we were going back to Cusco, there was another store visit. Awful tour planning. - It was very warm and we could hardly breathe inside the bus. If the bus had an AC, it was never used. - If you don’t speak Spanish, don’t bother to book this tour. The guide only translated the most important parts. The whole tour was mainly in Spanish and you are going to feel left out. - While waiting at our hotel in the morning, our guide called and asked us to walk one block to meet him and then walk together to the bus. We booked five tours in Peru with different tour operators and this was the first time a guide wouldn’t meet us and pick us up from our hotel. - We weren’t dropped off at Plaza Mayor after the tour as stated in the tour description. We were dropped off 1-2 blocks away. This becomes a big deal after a long day when you are tired. Highlights: + Likeable guide that did his best to make us feel included among the Spanish speaking people. + Complete tour with the most important places to see. No place was like the other. + Tasty buffet lunch with a good variety of dishes.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your tour experience. We understand that our tour may not have met your expectations in certain areas, and we apologize if our shopping stops, tour schedule, and transportation did not align with your preferences. However, we would like to respectfully offer a different perspective on some of the points you raised. - Our shopping stops are designed to support local artisans and communities, and we strive to ensure that prices are fair and competitive, wich its not true the so expensive the prices in San Pedro Market and as Our guide explain , its decision of everyone if shop or not, we dont offer a shoping tour, but this stops shows what they do in the visited places. - We apologyzed about Maras Salt Mines visiting time, it was very demanded day which our guide see for convenience to leve the place comsidering the feeling of the group, about the Price there is some few days updates that we send you , altough in the booking page doest show imediately , we dont charge entrance tickets, as you saw we pay i situ and get the ticket. - About the very tigh schedule and drop in your hotel, its explanwd clearly were drop in the city center which is really close all the hotels in our city, and the reason its the trafic jam at teh arrival time , drop every traveler could take abour one hour which its not efficient, althought in private service as its one Hotel we can pick up and drove in your Hotel. - Our cars are touristic Transport and are equipped with air conditioning and the first person in charge its our guide, but dont tell us " I dont know what for they have air condicionate" - We will provide more comprehensive translations for non-Spanish speakers, ensuring everyone feels included, thank you for let us know. - About th pickup and drop-off, Our city its small some of them even has not touristic access, like your hotel has One way Cars road only, sorry for making you walk One block, but it was because some truck was bloking that path. We're glad you appreciated our guide's efforts, the variety of tour stops, and the buffet lunch. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve and provide a better experience for our guests.

Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco cost?
+
Prices start at $24 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco take?
+
Plan for about 12 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 12-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 12-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour: 5 Iconic Sites from Cusco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
