    Fun tour of Amsterdam

We met Sydney for our Amsterdam tour and were very lucky to be the only patrons. Our tour was full of interesting information and facts we would not have found out for ourselves. He was easy to talk to amd answered all our questions. We were a little sad when it ended. Highly recommended.

    Excellent tour!

So much fun! One of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We learned a lot about Amsterdam and had constant laughs. Our two guides were the best! Highly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! "One of the best tours I've ever been on" is the kind of review we never get tired of reading. We're glad you learned plenty, laughed even more, and had such a great time with our guides. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Definitely to do!

It was great! A fun and enjoyable way to discover the city. The guide (Jack) was very careful of our needs. I also really liked the length and the pace of the tour. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! Glad Jack looked after you and kept the tour at just the right pace. Exploring Amsterdam should be fun, not a marathon. Thanks for the recommendation, and hope to see you again!

    Engaging but super chill

Our guide Jack was super engaging and highly knowledgeable, but not overbearing or nothing, and flexible enough to be able to veer off script whenever we asked him about something unrelated. Pretty much felt like exploring the city with a buddy who's a local to the area. Learned a lot and even got some sweet recs for later!

Response from the operator: Love hearing this! Feeling like you're exploring Amsterdam with a local friend is exactly what we aim for. We'll make sure Jack sees your kind words. Hope those recommendations made the rest of your trip even better!

The most honest tour I've ever been on

Love These Tours and Amsterdam didn't disappoint! The tours are highly relevant and include much more than a standard free walking tour. The guides are well versed in the traditional stories of the city but also clearly know and understand the deeper layers of the culture. We learnt so much about the unfolding of this country and it's liberism and multicultural and multilayered social systems. Fascinating to hear how the country was literally reclaimed from the sea and how and more importantly - WHO - built Amsterdam and the country. Lots of depth to the delivery on sensitive topics that need to be discussed if we are going to make changes in our world. Thanks so much Rude Bastards. You definitely didn't disappoint in the quality of information with a lot of fun and laughs along the way. Looking forward to the Berlin tour now! See you soon!

Response from the operator: Thanks so much! Reviews like this are exactly why we do what we do. We're glad you enjoyed the deeper side of Amsterdam's history, not just the postcard version. Thanks for trusting us with the more complicated stories as well as the laughs. We'll be ready to welcome you to Berlin. Just don't expect us to behave any better there!

Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Amsterdam.

How much does Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT) cost?

    +

Prices start at $30 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Amsterdam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT) take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Amsterdam is not rushed.

Is Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 116 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Amsterdam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT)?

    +

Around 41 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Amsterdam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Amsterdam and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Rude Bastards Tour of Amsterdam (CYHIT) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Amsterdam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Amsterdam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Amsterdam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Amsterdam Canal Cruise with Local Guide and Small Group, Guided Bike Tour of Amsterdam's Highlights & Hidden Gems, Amsterdam: Luxury Canal Cruise including Cocktails & Snacks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Amsterdam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Amsterdam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
