Great safari experience

It was amazing! We really enjoyed the experience. Driver jaffar was great, he was a certified dune driver that took us to the high slopes and it was fun. He was very enthusiastic about taking our family photos and he was making creative ones too. The dinner was good too. Delicious food with great shows of dances. We had a lovely experience. I highly recommend

Response from the operator: Thank you for your great review and for sharing your desert safari experience with us. Thank you for your kind commendation to Jafar. Humbly aside, all our Safari Guide are well trained with vast experience in desert safari driving and in providing excellent customer service to all our valuable guests. We are genuinely happy to know that you had a lovely time with your safari experience with us. We highly appreciate your valuable recommendation. It was our pleasure serving you.

10 . We spent a whole day with Gaffer, we had a lot of fun, we highly recommend it, in one day we got full information about life in Dubai, we visited parts of the city...we took a trip to the desert sands...a pampering dinner and an impressive performance, score 10.

The worst

My company had booked our Christmas party with Royal Mirage which was held on the 9th Dec 2021- this was a VVIP package. It was a terrible experience for a group of 43 persons. The contact person at Royal - Henry was extremely unhelpful from the very start of the safari. To begin with, the instructions to the drivers were not clear and they parked in the wrong area, people were waiting inside vehicles for twenty minutes in the basement with air cons turned off. The food was inedible and cold, a colleague was admitted to hospital with a stomach bug, most people did not eat, the cake for dessert tasted like it was made months ago. The limited drinks that were on the menu arrived more than an hour late, the min time to wait for a soft drink was an hour. The shishas came in very late, some did not even get theirs. Overall a terrible horrid experience. Never recommend this tour operator for any Corporate event. Extremely expensive for nothing in return. Henry refuses to accept any fault in this, no apology provided till now.

Response from the operator: First of all, we find this feedback malicious and biased. All the terms and conditions stipulated in our agreement with AES International for this group have been served. We even gave your group an exclusive dinner buffet station even if your company paid for shared dinner buffet only. We also upgraded your spirited beers without additional charge. Please also note that Ms. Joanne Navalta from AES was the main coordinator for the group pickup. Unfortunately, there were delay in the pickup due to last minute changes on pickup location in a very busy area near Burj Khalifa with heavy traffic on the road and no parking space. The agreed original pickup location was in front of the building and not in the basement paid parking. Three days after the event, Ms. Joanne have informed us that one of AES staff have stomach pain, one person out of 50 people as Royal Mirage staff have eaten the same dinner buffet that your group have. We took this accusation very seriously because this involves public food safety. We have asked Ms. Joanne for medical report to support this case but until now, we have not receive anything from AES. Lastly, we are very sorry to have deniedyour request for commission on this event as this is against our company rules.

Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubai.

How much does Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $850 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubai is not rushed.

Is Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubai and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Royal Fortress Fine Dining Desert Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dubai?

+

On Outty we rank every Dubai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubai Premium Red Dunes Safari, Camels & 5* BBQ at Al Khayma Camp, Dubai: Red Dunes Safari, Quad, Camel, Dune Bash, BBQ & Shows, Dubai Dune Buggy Safari Tour in Red Dunes Options. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dubai?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dubai?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
