About this experience
Discover the exotic beauty of this wonderful mountain, it will leave you breathless and speechless. It's amazing how we describe that view. You will be served a hot meal with love and passion. This is the best way to enjoy this meal while observing nature to the fullest at a thousand feet in Redonda Mountain. Itinerary We will pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana between 8:00 and 9:00 am. Once on board the minibus, we will go on an excursion to Montaña Redonda, one of the most beautiful places in the entire Caribbean country. You will be able to eat a tasty typical Dominican meal while you observe and enjoy the view of the entire town of Miches on top of the Mountain. On the way back we will have a 1-hour stop at Playa Esmeralda, it is one of the few virgin beaches totally evicted and isolated from the city of the Dominican Republic and with an exuberant nature, with a good tourist development.

GREAT
This was an amazing experience, we got picked up on time and the young man Samuel who took us to do the tour was great! Carols and his crew were very great as well very tentative and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing excursion

Prettiest part of DR
We really enjoyed our tour which turned out to be private. We were picked up on time at our hotel in an air conditioned van. Carlos our guide was excellent. I was able to practice my rusty Spanish. He was kind and helpful. He added on a cave to our trip that was unexpected and beautiful. The views from the mountain were incredible and the food was great. He helped us take lots of fun shots and shared some from his phone via WhatsApp. The best part was the incredible beach he took us to. Playa Limon. He gave us a choice of beaches to see and we chose Limon because it is pristine and totally private. It felt like our own paradise. Prettiest beach we’ve ever seen. Carlos was patient, attentive and never made us feel rushed. We set the pace and he seemed willing to hang out with us as long as we wanted everywhere we went. He was a safe driver too. Can’t recommend this tour enough. Don’t hesitate!

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Punta Cana.
How much does Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch cost?
+
Prices start at $99 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Punta Cana usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Punta Cana is not rushed.
Is Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 40 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Punta Cana, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch?
+
Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Punta Cana can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Punta Cana and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Round Mountain + Beach + Horse + Lunch start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Punta Cana within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Punta Cana?
+
On Outty we rank every Punta Cana experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Punta Cana Zipline - 8 lines and a suspenseful hanging bridge, Punta Cana Buggy or ATV Tour with Macao Beach, Cave and Tastings, Buggy Excursion to Macau Beach and Natural Cave. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Punta Cana?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
