A good show
It was a lovely evening, enjoyed the opera and the soprano and tenor were very good. A little bit on the pricey side feel maybe £100 would be a fairer amount, as it wasn’t a full 1 1/2 hours. However, this is only my opinion and still enjoyed the evening
Response from the operator: Dear Joyce, Thank you so much for your kind words — we’re truly glad to hear you enjoyed the evening and appreciated the performance. It was also a real pleasure for me to meet you and to sing for you😍 Just to share a bit more about the experience: it begins at 5:00 p.m. with access to the rooftop terrace, where guests can take in the view, enjoy some photos, and relax with an aperitivo. The concert itself starts around 5:30 p.m. and lasts until approximately 6:45 p.m. Afterwards, we accompany our guests to visit another terrace overlooking Piazza Navona, nestled beside the dome of Sant’Agnese in Agone and its bell towers. The event is intentionally designed for a small group of guests (around 15–20 people) and takes place on one of the most beautiful terraces in Rome, offering a unique 360° view over the city. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the duration and pricing — it’s very valuable for us as we continue to refine the experience. Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back in the future 😍 Warm regards, Paola and Roma Opera Omnia team

Fantastic experience!!!
We spent 7 nights in Rome. The rooftop opera was our favorite thing we did! I went with my wife and 26 year old son. Paola is an amazing singer and host. Anyone going to Rome should go see her. The venue was spectacular. Champagne and charcuterie too.
Response from the operator: Dear Peter, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind, kind words ❤️ To know that our time together on the Rooftop "La Grande Bellezza" of Palazzo Pamphilj will be a favorite memory you'll bring with you back home, it means so much to me. Raising a toast with your incredible family was my greatest pleasure, and I hope I'll get to sing for you again soon here in Rome! 🥂🥰 Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team

A Magical Valentine’s Evening in Rome
We attended the Valentine’s Day concert and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The repertoire was beautiful, emotional, and perfectly chosen for such a romantic evening. Every piece felt meaningful and touching. Paola and her team provided an exceptionally warm and welcoming atmosphere from the very first moment. Everything was thoughtfully organized, and their hospitality made the evening even more special. We enjoyed every song and every single minute of this wonderful event. It was a magical celebration of music and love in a stunning setting. I sincerely hope to meet Paola and her team again soon in Rome
Response from the operator: Dear Janis, Thank you so, so much for your kind words!! ❤️ Celebrating this special occasion with you on the Borromini Terrace was my honor, and it brings me so much joy to know that all the passion and love we put into music resonated with you. I truly cannot wait to see you both again and raise one more toast together here in Rome 🥂😍 Wishing you all the best, un abbraccio, Paola

Perfect experience to book to break up fast paced touring in Rome
Very enjoyable, unique experience. Singers were great and ambience was beautiful. We had booked several walking and food tours, museums and monuments, on top of day trips to Pisa and Florence for our total of 5 days in Rome, so it was pretty hectic. This was a nice change of pace to slow down and just take in the city and the music from the rooftops. Also, during part of this experience there was some light rain and wind and we appreciated that they went ahead with the performances anyway.
Response from the operator: Dear Michael, Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 I’m so glad you enjoyed your time with us! It was my pleasure to meet you and to offer you a quieter moment to relax and admire our city in a different way. Wind and rain won’t stop us from raising a toast on the rooftop, but I truly hope we’ll have beautiful sunshine next time you’re with us! ❤️ Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team

An unforgettable opera in Rome!
This rooftop opera experience was one of the highlights of my trip. The singers were incredibly attentive and talented, performing beautiful pieces with so much emotion. The atmosphere was magical, with a stunning and unique view of Rome that made the night truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and enchanting evening in the Eternal City.
Response from the operator: My dearest, Your lovely words warm my heart 🥹 It was such a pleasure to meet you and sing for you on the Rooftop La Grande Bellezza of Palazzo Pamphilj. I am so glad to know we succeeded in conveying the emotion of Italian Opera—and our very own as singers! I can't wait to share some more magical moments with you next time you're in Rome ❤️ Un grande abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team

Why this scores 66
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome cost?
+
Prices start at $178 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome take?
+
Plan for about 1.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 95 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 1.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rooftop Bar Opera Show: The Great Beauty of Rome start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
