Discovering the peculiarities of Rome
Day spent with friends in the name of culture, carefree and good Roman food, taking advantage of this beautiful service with luxurious Van brothers Marco and Andrea to discover the stories and peculiarities of Rome. We got to know peculiarities of some historical sites visited in the wonderful city under the expert guidance of Marco, stopping on the Gianicolo to watch the cannon fire at noon, then go to the city center area and taste the good dishes of the Roman tradition. I recommend to all those who want to travel to Rome to explore its wonders to choose this service because they will certainly be satisfied.

What a wonderful way to spend a first night in Rome with exceptional guide & driver Marco . We were is only passengers , and felt like VIPs! The Forum at night from the Capiltine Hill was an incredible site ! And the keyhole Of Malta , we were the only ones there , again , an incredible site . Loved Marco’s knowledge of Roman history both old ( NC) and new ( 20 th century ) . Treat yourself to an enchanting evening getting to know Roma à la Romana !

First Night experience
Marco was prompt, informative and good driver in traffic. We loved the sunset view stop and Pantheon stop. He helped us with getting the perfect restaurant near our hotel. But we didn’t drive by the expected St Peter’s and the lights were out in many places. Complaint: We did not have Prosecco as advertised. Was this your miscommunication?
Response from the operator: Ciao, the driver took you to places different from the plan, for exame the capitol hill to admire the lights of the imperial forums and other sites not in programma. If the lights of the Colosseum and St. Peter's Square were turned off due to the war that had just begun in Israel, we couldn't have foreseen it, I'm sorry. The bottle of prosecco was ready, but when our driver dropped you off in front of the restaurant, your request was not to bring it to the table, because the restaurateur didn't like it, so you didn't want it. However, we know that you liked everything else, because you requested the business card for future services, to be able to call us directly and save Viator's cimmission.. if this is done, it will be our duty first of all to deliver the bottle of prosecco to you. Now we understand why you didn't tip. Thank s so much to let us know.

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
ROME TOUR with PROSECCO: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.
How much does ROME TOUR with PROSECCO cost?
+
Prices start at $60 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does ROME TOUR with PROSECCO take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.
Is ROME TOUR with PROSECCO worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule ROME TOUR with PROSECCO?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is ROME TOUR with PROSECCO suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book ROME TOUR with PROSECCO?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does ROME TOUR with PROSECCO start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Rome?
+
Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Rome?
+
April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Rome?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
