Beware
BEWARE. Price too high for a self led tour with an audio app. Poorly timed itinerary. The description states that you have an hour for the coliseum. Our tickets were for 1030 so we could only enter at 1015. Tour guide told us to be there at 10. Takes 15 minutes to go through gates and security. We were then supposed to meet the golf cart at 1115. 5-10 minute walk to golf cart so we had less than 45 minutes. No time to look around or use the app. We were then rushed to get to the golf cart with several phone calls and texts. We tried our best to get to the location through the people. We were then told we were late and shuttled to the catacombs where we waited for 15 minutes for the tour to start. Not sure why it was such a rush. The catacombs were amazing. Returned to the golf cart where the driver only responded to my husband’s responses, not mine. We were dropped off at the coliseum to fend for ourselves through the forum and palantine hill. This tour is overpriced for the lack of support you get. It would have been better and cheaper to book everything myself! Complaints to the tour company were treated as insignificant.
