Do see the Pantheon. Do not use Viator to purchase tickets.

That purchasing tickets through Viator for the Pantheon is a waste of money. The ticket downloaded to your "apple wallet" is NOT your ticket and you needed to download a voucher via What's App or internet connection. This is NOT indicated when purchasing the tickets. I bought tickets for my group. Could not download them. I needed to repurchase admission tickets on site. I have requested a refund, but have not received a response from Viator. Here is a travel tip. It is easier to go to the Pantheon first thing. Get your tickets there. The line moves quickly. The process to purchase tickets is easy and cheaper. Going early is best.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced during your visit. We would like to clarify that our activity description and Important Information section clearly state that the Viator voucher serves as proof of purchase only and is not the entry ticket. We also specify that the official entry tickets will be sent via WhatsApp and email before the visit. Our team sends the tickets and visit details in advance to ensure a smooth entry experience. If there is any issue receiving or locating the tickets, we encourage customers to contact us immediately so that we can provide assistance in real time. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and appreciate your comments, as they help us continue improving our communication and customer experience. Thank you for visiting the Pantheon, and we hope you enjoyed this remarkable monument despite the difficulties encountered.

    Appointment time changers

We booked this tour for 2:00 they took our money and we were booked. At 12:15 they changed our time to 1:00 saying 2:00 wasn’t available. That we could go at 1:00 or get our money back. I said we wanted our money back. They said they can’t give us our money back because they get the tickets in our name. I was already in the cab heading in the direction of the Pantheon when all this happened. So we decided to get in line without tickets. It was almost 2:00 by this time. The line moved quickly and we got right in the cost was 5 euros cash each for my daughter and I. The experience that I had booked through this company was 30 euros for the 2 of us. So I don’t recommend this company! Sorry but to be honest the Pantheon is also over hyped. It was the least interesting thing we did in Rome.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that we contacted you before issuing the tickets to inform you that the original 2:00 PM time was no longer available and offered the available alternative at 1:00 PM. After your approval, we proceeded with purchasing and issuing the official tickets under your name and sent them accordingly. As stated in our booking conditions, once the tickets are purchased and issued, they become non-refundable. For this reason, we were unable to process a refund request after the tickets had already been confirmed and delivered. We understand that this situation may have been frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. However, we would also like to clarify that we provided the confirmed tickets and fulfilled the reservation according to the updated agreed-upon time. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your understanding. BR,

    Rome Pantheon

It was east to enter the Pantheon with the on-line ticket reserved for a specific time. In fact, I would recommend it since the line to buy tickets stretched around the square. The audio guide was very interesting — a cut above the usual narration.

    ticket directely at Pantheon

The price of ticket too hight for the service delivered. I advice you to buy your tickets directely at Pantheon

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that you felt the price did not fully meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that our service includes not only the entry ticket, but also a digital audio guide experience, along with assistance and support before your visit, ensuring a smooth and well-organized experience. While it is possible to purchase tickets directly at the Pantheon, availability can be limited, and queues may be long—especially during peak seasons. Our goal is to provide added convenience, time-saving, and a more informative visit through the audio guide. We truly appreciate your comments, as they help us improve our services, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for an even better experience. Kind regards, R&D Tours

Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rome.

How much does Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $16 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rome usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rome is not rushed.

Is Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rome, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rome can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rome and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Rome Pantheon Ticket with Audio & Optional Neptune Basilica Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rome within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rome?

    +

Rome runs on skip-the-line access. The Colosseum underground, the Vatican before opening, and the catacombs south of the walls all require a licensed operator, and the price gap between the good ones and the rest is smaller than you would expect. We rank by guide credentials, group size and how reliably the promised access actually materialises. On Outty we rank every Rome experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Rome Pasta and Tiramisu Class: Ravioli, Fettuccine & Fine Wine 5*, Pasta Making & Wine Tasting with Dinner in Frascati from Rome, Rome: Pizza & Tiramisu or Gelato Class with Flowing Fine Wine 5*. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rome?

    +

April, May, September and October. August is hot and half the city is shut. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rome?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
