What you'll see and do

  1. Rojo Tango

Experience an unforgettable night of elegance and passion in the exclusive Puerto Madero district with the acclaimed Rojo Tango Show at the luxurious Faena Hotel. Upon arrival, you’ll enter through a discreet doorway that leads down a sophisticated corridor lined with shops and restaurants, into the intimate cabaret theater where the show takes place. The setting -crimson lighting, a mahogany piano, and plush red velvet chairs—creates a captivating atmosphere. If you choose the dinner option, enjoy a gourmet three-course meal paired with premium Argentine wines. If you opt for the show-only experience, simply arrive in time to take your seat and enjoy the included drinks. The approximately 90-minute performance traces the history of tango, from its roots in early 20th-century cabarets to the evolution of tango nuevo, popularized by Ástor Piazzolla. Such a unique experience...

Such a unique experience to see the Togo tango show! The show was the perfect length - not too long and not too short. Would recommend!

Slick and Sexy

I don't expect to see any better tango dancing than this - stunning. The production is beautifully presented, with gorgeous costumes and tasteful eroticism. I appreciated the presence of live music rather than recorded, and it was lovely to hear the Piazzola pieces included. Full marks.

Brilliant - apart from the bits I didn't get to see!

The transportation, food, wines, service and show were wonderful. Unfortunately, seated on the platform next to the band, I probably had the only seat in the small cabaret room which had the view restricted by a column. This only affected those parts of the show which took place on the bar top (spoiler alert). The seat wasn't sold as restricted view and it only became apparent part way through the show. Otherwise brilliant.

Great show, shame about the service

The show itself was fantastic, however the food was average and I had to make my own way to and from a pick-up point as apparently staying in a hotel in Palermo was too much. This meant that late at night I had to find a taxi to get back to my hotel. For the price I paid, which was exorbitant, there was not value for money. I felt ripped off

Clearly tourist attraction but done well

Well oiled show and dinner with very well organized transfers. As long as you realise that this is designed for a tourist and has nothing to do with actual tango dances you will enjoy it. We definitely did enjoy it Dinner was just OK.

Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires cost?

+

Prices start at $132 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires?

+

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Rojo Tango Show with Optional Private Transfers in Buenos Aires start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

+

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
