Beyond expectations!
I expected the museum tour to focus on the history of past glories, given the title, but I was pleasantly surprised by how it went, as they included things like the empty stadium and the players' locker room. I'm glad I could take so many pictures.
Response from the operator: レビューをありがとうございます!期待以上の体験となり、スタジアムや控室で素敵なお写真が撮れたようで大変嬉しいです。またのアルゼンチンへのお越しを心よりお待ちしております!

A Father Son Experience at Museo River
Me and my son enjoyed the experience. The most important was that my son had a lot of questions about things which is a good think as he is just turning 5 lol. The guide was informative but the only thing I didn’t like was that it felt obligatory to take the photos that you then would have to purchase later if you wanted to.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for sharing your experience. We are delighted to hear that you and your son enjoyed the activity, and especially that your little one's curiosity made the tour even more special. We are also pleased to know that the information provided by our guide was of interest to you. We appreciate your feedback regarding the photography service. We have taken note of your comments, as guest feedback helps us improve the experience for everyone. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back again!

We do not recommend it.
We are not fans of River; we took the express tour, and the visit to the stadium is a joke. They took us to the stands to sit in some seats and wait seated for 15 minutes (the guide said, "take as many photos as you want," and that was all he said). After that, they left us in the museum, which is not great, but it saved them from having only one star. The worst part is that it is extremely expensive. Only for fans of the club.
Response from the operator: Hola, gracias por compartir su experiencia.

Lousy experience and Service for the family in general.
The tour guide and security guard very unpleasant and dismal attention in general, plus disrespect and despots.

River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.
How much does River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.
Is River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 53 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does River Plate Museum and Stadium Entrance - Stand Visit start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?
+
On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
