It was only for one night, but the experience was very good. The Frond Desk lady was immaculate- friendly, helpful and understanding. The best thing was the check-in process was done quickly, efficiently and accurately. The Check-Out process was equally good and expeditious - done by a male. The check-in always sets the tone of the entire hotel experience. Room was well-lit and cozy. TV worked. Bathroom was quite good. Main dining room was good, a lot of choices for breakfast, just wonderful. Didn't get time to big-up the chef but stew-peas and rice for breakfast was an excellent idea in my Jamaican view. I could not get enough.

Holiday

5th time at the hotel and again superb staff amazing entertainment amazing they work so hard. Rooms spacious and clean I phoned and requested asking for fresh towels and was immediately brought to my room. The food was good Italian was the best and waiting staff were all amazing and polite. I spent my holiday on the beach it was lovely and the guys on the beach will ask you if you want a smoke or sell there wares but they don't hound you I found them very entertaining tho some some people moaned about them they are only trying to make a living like every one else. The pools are always busy. I wouldn't put my toe in them as most people are in there all day, and you never see them going to the bathroom. Hence, I preferred to swim in the sea.The jerk chicken hut is a must it amazing but long line to wait in but worth the wait. Would I come back to this hotel absolutely its for all ages, not just the young

I can’t wait to return!!!

I don’t know where to start, my experience with the resort was one of the best experiences ever!!! It was my first time outside of the country and I’m So glad we chose this resort!!! The food, the service, the drinks everything!! 10/10 recommended!!!

terrible experience

For starters we arrived at 2 and check in is at 3. We went and ate lunch and checked in with our Amstar people. We checked back at the front desk at 3:30 and our room still wasn't available. We didn't get into our keys for our room until close to 6 and the elevator in our building was broken. We couldn't get in the pool because it was closed which is ridiculous. The majority of the machines in the gym were down and the towels for the pool took over 2 hrs to get. While waiting for the towels we were smoking a hookah and everyone else by the pool was smoking cigarettes, cigars, vapes and weed, but after 2-3 hours of smoking a lifeguard told us the manager said we couldn't smoke there. After telling him we'd pack it up, we kept getting approached by different security guards. The one security guard jumped in my husbands face and told him he wasn't scared of him. Next thing we know we're surrounded by 6-7 guards telling us we have to leave the property. We got escorted to the front lobby and tried to talk to the manager but he wouldn't talk to us or our travel agent. The security harassed us and followed us to our room to pack and kept knocking on our door telling us to hurry up. We waited in the lobby while we called around to different resorts. The security women kept telling us to hurry up. They didn't care if it was our Anniversary, that it was a Sunday night Or that we didn't even do anything wrong. The manager didn't want to hear anything we had to say. I Will NEVER go back to that resort or even Jamaica for that matter. The food wasn't that good and if you weren't the right color, the staff pretty much ignored you. The manager was super unprofessional and this trip left us with a Really bad Jamaican experience.

Amazing two weeks

Just got back and booked again for December, excellent service, great food, clean rooms, entertainment excellent especially roly poly and chocolate, smalz and Danielle, we was well looked after at the sports bar by omari Dawes. Excellent service by Takay coote on reception. We got an upgrade having a RIu gold class, Jackee the tui rep eas very helpful, and lasy took on board some of my ideas, perfect beach, the party boat eas a downfall not worth the money, we went out a few nights which was perfect, there is a shopping mall with a supermarket over the road which was convenient, can’t wait to get back, entertainment team would great you every morning by your name. I miss that good morning Tina and joe, highly recommended
