A Beautiful Taste of Italian Culture
This was nothing short of amazing and probably our favorite experience of the entire trip! We were staying in Positano and made the trip to the villa and it was absolutely worth it. The villa is so quiet and peaceful, the garden is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The host was incredibly kind and made the whole experience feel less like an activity and more like being welcomed into someone’s home and becoming part of the family for the evening. Making LemonCello, pasta, enjoying the garden, learning about the local culture, and then sitting down to such delicious homemade food made the entire experience so special and authentic. Everything we ate was amazing! It was also very easy to get to from Positano, and I would make the trip again without hesitation. It is 100% worth the price and something I would recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast who wants a genuine Italian experience beyond the typical tourist activities. We would absolutely do it again!

visit Ristolab Villa Puolo
To anyone visiting Sorrento: you owe it to yourselves to visit Enzo and his daughter Chiara. They run Ristolab Villa Puolo, and with them, you get an authentic taste of Italy, a wonderful culinary experience, and pasta-making tips for your own kitchen—plus an unforgettable evening watching the sunset from the terrace. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. We visited with our adult children, and the experience remains a vivid, cherished memory now that we are back in Denmark. Thanks to Enzo and Chiara.

Memorable and a highlight of our trip!
Our visit to the RistoLab at Villa Puolo was one of the highlights of our trip. This experience came highly recommended by our guide for the Amalfi coast and it did not disappoint. Chiara was wonderful to coordinate the experience with, starting with the pick up at our hotel and making adjustments for one of the guests in our party, who is pescatarian. When we arrived at the farm, we were greeted with homemade lemon Granita. Anton, the chef and our guide for the experience, then gave us a tour of the farm. We had appetizers in the lemon groves, followed by limoncello making in the pergola (which we got to take home!). Our experience ended in the outdoor dining area, where Anton showed us how to make linguini, which was the highlight of the experience. We got to spend a little time with Anton in the kitchen, where we helped to prep our shrimp appetizer. At that time, we then retreated back to the dining area, which overlooks the sea for a homemade dinner cooked by Anton and his assistant, Salvatore. Everything was fresh and delicious! My kids really enjoyed getting to eat the pasta that they made.

Unforgettable experience!
From start to finish we had an amazing time! Enzo and his family welcomed us to their villa with an enormous garden where Enzo gave us a extensive tour. It was inspring to experience Enzo’s passion for gardening, cooking and his animals. We exchanged stories, experiences and we had a lot of laughter. During the cooking experiences, all ingredients we used were locally grown and you could really taste it. In the end, the dinner consisted of several courses and we had the most incredible view over the ocean and his garden during sunset. A moment we will never forget, highly recommended! The pick-up and drop-off service was also very nice.

Sorrento Highlight
★★★★★ This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento! From the moment we were picked up by the owner in their family van, we felt welcomed and cared for. The villa itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Capri, Naples, and Mount Vesuvius. The experience felt authentic and personal from start to finish. We enjoyed a tour of the beautiful property, complete with lemon trees, gardens, tomatoes, and so much more. We were treated like family, greeted with homemade lemon sorbet and introduced to the family’s passion for their land and traditions. The limoncello-making experience was fantastic, and the organic limoncello we tasted was the best we’ve ever had. As an added bonus, the owner’s daughter served us homemade wine along with fresh bread, olive oil, and homegrown artichokes, tomatoes, and fava beans—all absolutely delicious. Seeing their horse, donkeys, and even their sweet toddler running around the villa made the experience feel even more special. It was such a refreshing change from the major tourist sites and gave us a glimpse into real family life in Sorrento. We left feeling full, happy, and grateful for such a memorable experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of the Amalfi Coast!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento cost?
+
Prices start at $70 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Ristolab Villa Puolo The Taste of Sorrento start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
