Rinjani Crater Rim with Family
We recently completed the 2D1N Senaru Crater Rim trek with Green Rinjani as a family of five, with our youngest being 12 years old, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, everything was well organised. Our airport pick-up was punctual, and because we arrived in Senaru earlier than expected, they kindly offered to take us to visit Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfalls. A special thank you to our guide, Wildan, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating throughout. The next morning, Dana and Rahmat picked us up promptly at 7:00 am, and we started our hike from Senaru Gate at 7:45 am. As we were hiking with children, they never rushed us and were happy to match our family’s pace, making the whole journey enjoyable rather than stressful. The organisation during the trek was outstanding. After about 4 km, we stopped for lunch, and the porters had already prepared everything before we arrived, so we could enjoy a hot meal immediately. After a 45-minute break, we continued the climb, stopping along the way to plant a tree as part of Green Rinjani’s reforestation initiative, which made the experience even more meaningful. We reached the Senaru Crater Rim at around 4:00 pm and were welcomed with freshly made banana fritters and hot tea. Watching the sunset while enjoying a delicious hot dinner was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of the trip. The following morning, breakfast was served at 6:30 am before we began our descent at 7:30 am. We stopped for another freshly prepared lunch after Pos 1 at around 12:30 pm and reached Senaru Gate by 1:15 pm. Afterwards, we returned to the Green Rinjani office to collect our luggage before they transferred us to our hotel. A huge thank you to our guides, Dana, Rahmat as well as all six porters who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Their hospitality, professionalism and care made everything run so smoothly. From the delicious meals to the excellent organisation and genuine kindness, we felt well looked after every step of the way. If you’re looking for a reliable and family-friendly trekking company to experience Mount Rinjani, we would highly recommend Green Rinjani. Thank you for making this such a memorable adventure for our family.

Amazing experience, highly professional guide and organization
We had the 2D 1N private Crater rim Experience with Robbie and his 2 porters and we had the absolute best time. It was a super professional organized tour, everything was prepared and we had the chance to fully concentrate on nature etc. Robbie is a well prepared, professional and experienced guide. He was a great help at any time. It was a pleasure to walk with him and we had a lot of fun during the whole trip. The whole crew and the organization made us feel welcome all the time. They took care of all our needs and tempo. The 2D1N is perfect for a short experience, which was the best for us for this time. We do recommend 100% and if we come back for the peak next time, we would choose Green Rinjani again.

Great Crater Rim Trekking
The Trekking from Senaru to Crater Rom was very cool for us. Our Guide Dhana helped us a lot and explained so many facts about the mt. rinjani. Our tent at the Crater rim was so confortable and we had the best view. Thanks for all Porters, Green Rinjani and Dhana.

Amazing!
This experience was absolutely outstanding! Despite the spontaneous booking everything was made possible, the tour includes pickup and dropoff as well as the overnight stay one night before the tour starts and the entire tour including guide and porter. We were treated to a wide variety of freshly cooked meals throughout the tour and everything was delicious. Our guide Aril was absolutely brilliant! We felt safe at all times, he went at our pace and speaks excellent English. Aril also collected more garbage from the mountain than we caused ourselves and took it back with us - Greenrinjani looks after the mountain very carefully (part of the payment is also used for clean-up activities). In addition, Aril was simply in a great mood, told exciting stories about the mountain and the entire island of Lombok and spared no effort to create an unforgettable video of our trip with great pictures and videos over and above the package we had booked! Also, our guide Aril always had the best tips for the right spots for sunrise and sunset. Aril is a great character who I highly recommend to everyone! The outstanding overall experience was rounded off by the beautiful nature that we were able to observe from the Senaru Rim Crater and the porters, who showed great commitment. Everyone was always in a good mood and we had a great time! the organization by the owner Arie was perfect! thank you for everything!
