Catch a coffee and breakfast, or use the time to visit St.Mary's Cathedral or Killarney House and Gardens. You will visit and learn about the National Park again towards the end of Ring of Kerry.

Killorglin
Pass through Killorglin, the home of the ancient Celtic festival Puck Fair. Dating back to 1613., this is one of the oldest festivals in the world where a goat is crowned king of the village and placed on a pedestal for 3 day in August each year. People come from far and wide to pay homage to the king goat and enjoy the festivities of street stalls, music, and much more. This section of the tour takes you along part of the famous "Ring of Kerry" driving route.

Torc Waterfall is a 18m high waterfall which cascades through the wooded Friers Glenn. We take a stop at this magnificent natural site of beauty. The waterfall has a public hiking path that stretches to the top of Torc Mountain.

Beautiful sights, but overly commercialized – would not recommend
While our guide was very nice and responsible, I seriously cannot recommend this tour. There were a few irrelevant stops at restaurants and gift shops along the way, but the main disappointment was Killarney National Park, which was our very first stop. Even though entry was supposed to be included, the driver told us there was no time to explore on foot and pushed a 16 € horse carriage ride. Guests who didn't pay for the carriage were dropped off at a shopping outlet instead. I decided to walk to the park entrance myself and found the bus waiting right there for the carriage group. The driver could easily have dropped everyone at the entrance so we could walk around too. It felt far too commercialized and misleading. Save your money and look for a different operator.

Great overview of the area with well-chosen stops
Our guide, Connor, was excellent! He provided a lot of history and entertainment that added to the trip. He also was very friendly and approachable off the bus, unlike some guides who have a tendency to flee when you get off the bus.

Fun wow!!
We had the best time!! Conor kept everyone laughing from start to finish with his great jokes and high energy. It felt like we were hanging out with a friend. We also appreciated all the bathroom breaks!! If you end up having Conor as your guide, consider yourself lucky and enjoy your day with him!!

Connor is a great driver and host on the Ring of Kerry Tour
Connor was a fantastic driver, host, guide and a lovely guy!! Lots of fun! The tour was not a rushed feel, and the bus was very comfortable. Connor recommended we do the horse and cart ride in the Killarney National Park, and he was right!! It was a lovely ride around the grounds, and we saw a lot of deer.
