Kind, Professional, Excellent Guide
We booked a tour to Rick’s restaurant with Kenroy as our guide. I cannot say enough great things about our experience. He was so kind and professional. We had booked a trip to Ricks for dinner, he gave us the option to shop at local stores for souvenirs. I didn't know that was an option so we were able to find some great gifts to bring back home. I would HIGHLY recommend booking Kenroy for any excursion or experience in Jamaica. He knows the island so well and will get you there safely.
Response from the operator: Thanks for taking the time out to leave us a review and recommendation greatly appreciated. Hope to see you guys in the near future where we can explore even more of this island 🏝️

Great experience
We had Kenroy as our driver to Rick’s Cafe and he was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable right away. The conversation was great—very personable and engaging, which made the ride fly by. He also shared helpful local insights and ensured we arrived safely and on time. He turned a simple transfer into a really enjoyable part of our trip. Highly recommend!!!
Response from the operator: Thank you Maggie for such a great review and recommendation hope to take you again in the near future.

Real Talk Review for KenRoy – Jamaica’s Finest
Let me keep it 100 — if you’re coming to Jamaica and don’t hit up KenRoy, you’re doing yourself a disservice. This man is the truth. Not just another driver or tour guide — he’s family from the moment you meet him. Realest, most down-to-earth dude you’ll ever come across. He knows every inch of the island — not just the tourist traps, but the real Jamaica. He took us to the local spots, introduced us to good food, good people, and made us feel safe and at home the entire time. You can tell he genuinely loves his island and takes pride in showing it off the right way. What stood out most? His energy. Dude’s funny, smart, respectful, and professional, but still knows how to keep it chill and real. No fake smiles, no “tourist talk,” just straight vibes, good conversations, and good times. Bottom line — if you need a travel advisor, driver, or island guide who’ll treat you like family and make your trip unforgettable, KenRoy’s your guy. I don’t just recommend him… I vouch for him. 100%.
Response from the operator: Thank you Joe A for taking the time out to leave us such a great review and recommendation we greatly appreciate it.

Great driver and very easy to talk to. We had Kenroy take us to Rick’s Cafe as well as drop us off to the Airport. The drive seemed much quicker because of the great conversation.

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Negril.
How much does Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Negril usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Negril is not rushed.
Is Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Negril, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Negril can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Negril and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rick's Cafe & Shopping in Negril start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Negril within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Negril?
+
On Outty we rank every Negril experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Transportation and Tour from Montego Bay to Blue Hole/Secret Falls, Negril Glass Bottom Boat Tour Snorkeling and Booby Cay, Montego Bay Jamaica Airport Private Transfer To Negril Hotels. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Negril?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Negril?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
