    Great Experience

This was certainly a highlight of the Venice portion of the trip with my granddaughter. Lorenzo is a great cook and excellent in instruction. We made fresh pasta, all the sauces and each course from scratch. Six people in class. Great conversations and everyone participates. Final meal of the class was actually the best meal of the trip. I highly recommend this experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for this beautiful review! We're honored this was a highlight of your Venice trip with your granddaughter. Lorenzo will be so happy to know you found him a great cook and excellent instructor. Making fresh pasta, sauces, and each course from scratch – and then hearing that the final meal was the best meal of your trip – that means everything to us. Great conversations, full participation, and unforgettable flavors.

    Best meal yet!

As a family, we have been doing cooking classes in each city we visit and we all agreed this was the best meal of them all! It was nice to walk the fish and produce markets…they were wonderful!

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing this wonderful feedback on our Rialto Market Tour with Hands-on Cooking Class. For a family who takes cooking classes in every city, being told this was the best meal of them all is truly special. We’re so glad the market walk through Venice’s historic fish and produce stalls added that authentic layer to the experience, and that the tiramisu and wine helped make it unforgettable. We would be honoured to welcome your family back for another Venetian meal whenever your travels bring you to Italy again.

The Rialto Market Tour is Gem

This was our best tour while in Italy. Our guide, Lorenzo, took us through the Rialto Market explaining the fish, meats, and produce a well as providing a background of the history and culture of the area. He asked if our group about any did issues prior to buying produce for our meal. We had a lovely time making the food and learned a lot. Lorenzo was very impressive in the kitchen. We made seven different items that we prepared and the meal was amazing! We highly recommend!!

Response from the operator: Thank you! We're thrilled you loved the experience with Lorenzo. Our goal is to offer more than just a simple pasta class; we provide a comprehensive Venice cooking experience, from selecting ingredients at the Rialto Market to preparing a full traditional meal. So glad you enjoyed the variety of dishes and Lorenzo's expertise! Best,

A wonderful way to spend a day

We had a lovely day, first walking through the market, then going to the operator's home and helping him cook fish, pasta and tiramisu. He was kind and engaging and patient and we had a wonderful day in his company. Highly recommended. I will certainly be using the techniques I learned today to cook when I get home. He even answered questions about other dishes from what was on the menu.

Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Venice.

How much does Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu cost?

    +

Prices start at $129 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Venice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Venice is not rushed.

Is Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 69 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Venice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu?

    +

Around 24 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Venice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Venice and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Rialto Market Tour with Hands on Cooking Class, Wine & Tiramisu start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Venice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Venice?

    +

On Outty we rank every Venice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pasta and Tiramisu Cooking Class with Wine in Venice, Eating Venice Small Group Food & Drinks Tour, Venice Bacaro Food Tour: Eat and Drink like a Venetian. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Venice?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Venice?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
