10′-6″ Mini “MAX” Raft Rental=Maximum Family Fun
Dvorak Expeditions wrote the book on the Ark river experience. Knowledgeable, flexible and LOCAL. Don't trust out of town outfitters to know the river, it's flow-rate and it's put-in/take-outs like the staff at Dvorak. Rented a Mini Max raft and was assisted by the staff to safely secure the craft to the roof. Staff was waiting at the take-out to take the gear back HQ. Bill's team of extended family is the best in the business. We will be back.
Response from the operator: We are very pleased your experience was the best. As always we want your time on the river to be safe, easy-going and FUN. Looking forward to the next time.

Old lady at the counter was an absolute bag
The old lady behind the counter needs to retire. She was a snotty old bag that never smiled and mumbled any responses if you could even get her to respond to your questions at all. The people ahead of us were warning us as we came in and they were right! She acted like she hated being there and it showed. The place wasn't busy so I have no idea who pissed in her coffee. When you are renting equipment you can go ANYWHERE, there are dozens of places in the area, I would go back to this place again. Nice web site however. Whoever did their online apps did a great job.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the review, we have worked very hard to make our website simple and accessible with proper social distancing protocols in place for your physical arrival. Our sincere apologies in regards to your contact when you picked up your equipment. Being heard clearly or smiling under a mask is simply not something many of us are experienced. The trials and tribulations that we each face during these difficult times I'm assuming must be exacerbated by being in an age group that is a high risk, let alone in a customer interaction position. This is certainly not her primary position, and she was just filling in to help. Regardless of your interaction with her we really do hope you enjoyed yourself and the Arkansas Valley! Please consider a guide next time so that we have the opportunity to show you what our customer service is really about!

Why this scores 49
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buena Vista.
How much does Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buena Vista usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buena Vista is not rushed.
Is Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3/5 across 2 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Buena Vista, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buena Vista can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buena Vista and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rentals: 1-Day Raft Accessories (PFD | Helmet | Splash Jacket) 1 person start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buena Vista within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Buena Vista?
+
Buena Vista is Colorado's rafting hub: Browns Canyon National Monument trips from mild to class IV, plus hot springs, zip lines, ATV tours and fourteener access. On Outty we rank every Buena Vista experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Browns Canyon Rafting Adventure, Brown's Canyon Half Day, Browns Canyon National Monument Whitewater Rafting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Buena Vista?
+
May to August, with the biggest water in June. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Buena Vista?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
