Fantastic Experience: a skippered transfer
My mom and I used this company to transfer from Mykonos to Athens. The two guys were so nice and such wonderful hosts. I would only book with them if I came back. 100000/10
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! It was an absolute pleasure having you and your mom on board. We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the trip and our hospitality. Knowing you’d choose us again means the world to us—safe travels, and we hope to welcome you back soon!

Loved it. Great boat and great service.
We had a great time. It had to be rescheduled which was a shame, although out of seabreeze’s control (someone damaged the propeller and it needed repairing). The business owner (don’t know his name) was very responsive via text at all times and even gave us the number for a good taxi company which saved us €20. Definitely the best boat I’ve been in control of and felt very luxurious for the price we paid. There were drinks with ice and crackers provided in the cooler; the ad said there’d be a cooler but this was a nice surprise. Thoroughly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your understanding and for your amazing feedback! 🚤✨ We truly appreciate your patience with the rescheduling, and we’re glad we could still make your experience a great one. It’s wonderful to hear that you found the boat luxurious and enjoyed the little extras like the drinks and snacks! We always strive to go the extra mile, whether it’s helping with taxis or making sure you have everything you need for a fantastic day on the water. We’d love to welcome you back for another adventure in the future! 🌊☀️

Superb
This was one of the best boat rental experiences I have ever had, and I have rented boats across the Mediterranean many times. We got a transfer from Oia to Port Vlychada in the morning. The port is large, so it is helpful to know that SeaBreeze is on the front end at the end of the first main dock as you enter the harbor. We had a family of 6 with 4 children 8 years old and under. We brought our own life jackets for them, but SeaBreeze has them included. We showed up, got a very short tutorial of the island and the boat, and then we were on our way for a lovely day on the water. No nonsense, no needless waiting. The boat felt new and clean and drove like a dream. We were gone all day, so we stopped off at one of the islands for lunch at a restaurant where you can dock. Highly recommend if you are out all day with kids. These people do it right, very courteous, efficient and professional. Cannot recommend them highly enough. We watched the sunset and came in to port. One of the biggest highlights of our month trip.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We're thrilled to hear that your boat rental with SeaBreeze was one of the best you've ever had, even with your extensive Mediterranean boating history. It's great to know that the transfer from Oia to Port Vlychada went smoothly, and we appreciate your helpful tip about SeaBreeze's location. We're glad your family of 6, including 4 young children, had an enjoyable time on the water. It's fantastic that the boat's condition and performance met your expectations. Your recommendation of the restaurant for lunch and the commendation of our courteous, efficient, and professional team mean a lot to us. We're honored to have been a highlight of your month-long trip, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another memorable boating adventure in the future.

The Speed Freak Skipper from Hell
Santorini Seabreeze RentABoatSantorini 1 Star Saturday 24 June 2023 We booked a day boat trip to Folegandros island with this company, with local friends from Santorini - four of us. We selected the option of a 10 metre boat. This was deceptive as in fact the skipper’s cabin took up over a third of the boat. We had made detailed requests for the boat company to supply onboard drinks, including beers, wine, gin, tonic, limes and ice and were assured that these would all be supplied and that there would be both a fridge and a ‘head’ (loo) on board. Neither of which latter appliances (fridge or loo) we ever saw, curtesy of the ‘hero’ skipper. The drinks were all supplied but clearly the skipper didn’t get the hint that we hoped for a pleasurable boat trip to Folegandros and back (forecast schedule of circa 2 hrs 15 mins each way in good weather) and after all, the schedule allowed for us to spend 6-7 hours on the island, so no need for haste. We set off after a cursory introduction from our skipper who told us to squeeze into the limited front outside area of the boat until we cleared the harbour and then ordered us to go to the back and STAY there. One member of our party chose to sit in the cabin next to the skipper and the remaining 3 of us squeezed onto the rear cushioned platform like sardines pressed together with the two on left and right needing to place a foot on the floor for balance - no water nor drinks offered by the skipper; who THEN took us on the boat trip to hell... It was a beautiful day in Santorini, clear skies, no wind and perfect conditions - supposedly - the skipper was clearly able to handle the boat competently, BUT UNFORTUNATELY had an overwhelming need to PROVE that he could handle it at FULL THROTTLE at 30 knots and was determined to break his world speed record of reaching Folegandros in under the usual 2-2.15 hours so we endured 1 hr 20 minutes of clinging on for dear life to rails above our heads as we smashed through the seas without refreshments nor any concern from the skipper as we repeatedly smacked our heads against the glass of the cabin behind us. We managed to deduce that even should we have wanted to use the loo on board, there would be no opportunity of requesting such an option from the hell bent maniac driving our boat on a mission to oblivion - the loo was underneath the seat we were clinging to for dear life and any move would have pitched us overboard (or into the enormous engine immediately in front of us at the rear), without the skipper even noticing until after he had passed “the imaginary finishing line” to receive his silver cup for breaking his own personal speed record. On arrival at the harbour at Folegandros, the skipper suddenly became all relaxed and chummy after attempting to turf us off the boat, but we had insisted on relaxing FINALLY with some cold drinks on board before departing for our day on the island. Customer service and care of the personal needs or preferences of his clients didn’t even enter the equation for one nano second. Hopefully this review might prick and deflate his over inflated ego and take it down several suitable sizes to something that fits. My husband and I and also our Greek friends have done MANY boat trips before, not only from Santorini to other islands such as Sikinos, but in Thailand and Africa, Vietnam and Indonesia. We have experienced excellent sea and weather conditions as well as severe storm conditions and violent seas, but always have felt in safe hands and service has been maintained at top standard for us as clients and passengers, even when soaked through, with humour maintained intact and a good time had by all - that is life and we take all that is contrary to weather expectations and hopes. NOT THIS TIME!!!! We were so exhausted by the time we returned to Santorini at top speed on the return. We were inexplicably transferred to another boat in the harbour, which involved clambering off our boat with all bags and cool box and were then parked and moored and had to climb over 5 other boats to get to solid ground – the skipper did not assist us and it was left to one of our friends (aged 80) to assist us and carry bags. The skipper (clearly expecting a tip) then jauntily asked whether we had enjoyed our day on Folegandros. We coldly assured him that we HAD enjoyed our time on land, but NOT our boat transport to and from, thanks to his own selfish ego to show off his prowess for speed over comfort or best interests of the clients on board. Neither we nor our Greek friends will ever use this boat company again.
Response from the operator: We appreciate your feedback and we're truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience. We strive to provide a positive and enjoyable boating experience for all our customers. Your concerns are important to us and we take them seriously. We apologize for any miscommunication regarding the boat size and onboard amenities. It's regrettable that the skipper's actions did not align with your expectations for a relaxing journey. Your feedback regarding the skipper's driving style and lack of consideration for your comfort is duly noted. We understand the importance of providing a safe and pleasant experience, and we deeply regret that we fell short in this instance. Your detailed account of your experience will help us address the issues you've raised and make necessary improvements to ensure such incidents do not occur again in the future. We truly value your input and regret that your trust in our company has been shaken. We're committed to learning from this experience and continually improving our services. If you have any further concerns or suggestions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Santorini.
How much does Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered cost?
+
Prices start at $589 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Santorini usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Santorini is not rushed.
Is Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 25 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Santorini, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered?
+
Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Santorini can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Santorini and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rent a SpeedBoat in Santorini with License or Skippered start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Santorini within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Santorini?
+
On Outty we rank every Santorini experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half Day Premium Catamaran Cruise in Santorini including Oia, Private Santorini Tailor Made - Choice of the Guest!, Private Classic Santorini Panorama: Visit Top Destinations. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Santorini?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Santorini?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
