This oasis of peace and beauty is popular because of the numerous sandy beaches, rocky paths through the mysterious old forests, olive groves and vineyards. Lopud is known for its old stone houses, rich historical culture and breathtaking views of the unforgettable sunsets which are sure to stir up the romance. The MUST on the island Lopud is to visit one of the oldest Botanic gardens in Europe, and spend your time on famous beach Šunj, according to a local legend, if you bathe with your loved one, you’ll never apart. On top of the hill, there is a museum called Temple of Sun, when you walk you in, different shades are moving around you. Lopud is inhabited, so there you’ll find many cocktail bars, restaurants, olive oil, vine, and other food and beverages to taste and buy… Guess where are the oldest palms in Europe growing?

Sipan
You can relax and have a coffee in old fishermans port, or you can go for a small sightseeing for that time, duration of stop is at your choice depending on what you would like to do ! The Island Šipan is the biggest island, and it is in the Guinness book of the records by biggest number of olive trees on one island. It is historically very interesting. During the 15th century it was a chic summer getaway for the very best Dubrovnik’s families, many of whom built villas on the island. There’s late-Gothic Rector’s Palace and ruins of archbishop’s palaces. In Suđurađ, where is our port, you will find many fisherman's families who stayed on the island and kept their tradition for all those years. The reason for that is that island is furthest from town so tourism didn’t commercialised it. You will see how people are truly living on the islands. Many small and big fishing boats, old stone houses and children selling seashells in the port. In Suđurađ is the castle of the wealthy Stjepović-Skočibuha, family from Dubrovnik, dating from the 16th century. Next to it is a tower built for defense against pirates. Šipan is known to be called “the Mediterranean as it used to be“.

Also, you can walk through Gornje and Donje Celo that are typical examples of Mediterranean place in south Dalmatia.Koločep has as much as 250 sunny days per year, which together with divine, clear sea and rich vegetation of pines and olives, makes it a heavenly island.

We had the most amazing day exploring the Elaphiti Islands, and a huge part of what made the experience so special was our skipper, Domenic! From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable, safe, and had the best possible time. Domenic knew all the best spots and gave us great recommendations, while making the whole day feel perfectly organized yet completely relaxed. He was also so much fun to be around — always smiling, chatting with us, and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. You can really tell when someone genuinely loves what they do, and Domenic definitely does. He went above and beyond to make our day memorable, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better skipper. If there is a Best Skipper prize, Domenic absolutely deserves it! ⭐️ He is a true credit to the tour, and we would 100% choose him again. Highly recommend Domenic to anyone looking for an unforgettable day around the Elaphiti Islands!

A day we will never forget!
Yesterday my partner and I had the most wonderful trip with Dubrovnik Island Tours – it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We were collected right on time from our hotel and taken straight to the marina to meet our skipper Domi. No hassle, no waiting around – we were onboard and setting off straight away to explore! We visited beautiful caves, a lovely sandy beach, Pebble Beach and the stunning Blue Lagoon – every single stop was fantastic. We had just the right amount of time at each place to swim, wander and take it all in before moving on. Domi was absolutely brilliant – neither of us had ever been big boat fans before, but he made us feel so comfortable and at ease straight away. We really appreciated being able to use the snorkelling gear too, it made the day even more special. Thank you so much Domi, and thank you Dubrovnik Island Tours for giving us such a magical day we’ll remember forever.

An Unforgettable Boat Tour – The Highlight of My Birthday!
What an incredible experience! Visiting the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and Šunj Beach was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire trip exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to our amazing tour guide, David, for making the day so memorable. He was friendly, professional, funny, and made sure everyone felt safe and had a great time throughout the tour. His energy and enthusiasm made every stop even more enjoyable. What made this experience even more special was that it happened to be my birthday. David had no idea it was my birthday, yet the way he treated everyone—with kindness, warmth, and genuine hospitality—made me feel incredibly special. It truly became one of the best birthday celebrations I’ve ever had. The crystal-clear waters, swimming stops, stunning caves, and relaxing time at Šunj Beach created memories I’ll never forget. If you’re visiting Dubrovnik, this boat tour is an absolute must, and if you’re lucky enough to have David as your guide, you’re in for an amazing experience. Thank you, David, for helping make my birthday one I’ll always remember. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure, beautiful scenery, and an unforgettable day at sea!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dubrovnik.
How much does Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands cost?
+
Prices start at $709 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dubrovnik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dubrovnik is not rushed.
Is Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 55 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dubrovnik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dubrovnik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dubrovnik and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rent a speed boat and explore beaches and coves of Elaphiti Islands start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dubrovnik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Dubrovnik?
+
On Outty we rank every Dubrovnik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Dubrovnik: Game of Thrones Walking Tour, Dubrovnik: 7 Caves & Blue Cave Speedboat Tour (4h), Panorama Zipline Experience in Dubrovnik. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Dubrovnik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Dubrovnik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
