Very interesting tour with a lot of background knowledge
I wanted to rate our experience with the Kiezjungs here. We had booked the tour with Ralf for yesterday evening at 10:00 PM. What we were able to learn there about the Reeperbahn, St. Pauli, and the Kiez was very interesting. It went back to the very beginnings, the history of the development of the Reeperbahn and the Kiez. We were given a lot of insider knowledge. Ralf put his heart and soul into our tour. We didn't think at the beginning of the tour that we would be able to take away so much background knowledge. If you also want to book a tour about the history of the Reeperbahn, you are in perfect hands with the Kiezjungs. We can definitely recommend them. Especially Ralf, whom we had the pleasure of meeting. During the 10:00 PM tour, no one was watching the clock. You normally book a two-hour tour, but ours was extended significantly because our interest and his love for the Reeperbahn were so high. So a two-hour tour turned into an almost four-hour, incredibly interesting tour. Thanks again. The big Reeperbahn tour, sex, crime, Kiez

Highly recommended
An exciting tour as part of a graduation trip, followed by a lights tour through the Hamburg harbor. M. impressed everyone with his very direct manner and his background knowledge. A unique experience.

Open, honest, unforgettable
Bouncer Mike was great. We had an insane amount of fun; we can now easily imagine what real neighborhood life looks like. Mike is open, honest, and very direct! If you know how to "take" him, an unforgettably fun tour. But we'll say it upfront… Not for squares or bores 🤣 M&M

Cool mile, exciting, tolerant, respectful.
Super nice guide - Sandra - probably the only female Kiez boy, with authentic experiences as a local, funny, exciting, and informative, answered all questions comprehensively, always absolutely open and respectful of the environment... we were lucky with a small group of 6 people, it was almost private... Would love to do it again! Greetings to Sandra from Berlin!

Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hamburg.
How much does Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys cost?
+
Prices start at $33 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hamburg usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hamburg is not rushed.
Is Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 94 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Hamburg, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 18. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hamburg can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hamburg and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Red light Reeperbahn tour of the neighborhood boys start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Hamburg within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Hamburg?
+
On Outty we rank every Hamburg experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Local Tour of Hamburg Historic Centre, Guided Hamburg City Bike Tour, Tourist Excursion - Free Tour - Historic Center-Hamburg Walking. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Hamburg?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Hamburg?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
