The colorful mountain is worth it, the food is terrible!
The experience was not excellent considering the cost x benefit. It was one of the most expensive tours I've cited. Other agencies had this tour, but they weren't as well known. Then I decided to pay much more expensive and closed with Machu Picchu Travel after a lot of fight, because they are so bad goods in answering messages. I was with a number that a friend passed, which was after sale. Instead of passing me on to someone from sales, they just ignored me for weeks, reading the messages and giving a hello sometimes. So I got contact even via Instagram. I paid, as I said, a very high value and the two foods that exist in this tour were terrible, in the same restaurant. The restaurant is in a village, but that is no excuse, as the food in Peru is rich everywhere. She wasn't. Opcao for breakfast was coffee, cake of water and salt, butter, two fruits and a juice. On the tour the lunch was so bad, so anti-hygienic, with flies in the food, everything so precarious and we decided not to have lunch! We complained on time, for the attention on WhatsApp and the answer was: a TOTAL silence. I did the other tours with the agency Araya and, because there are no good restaurants from Cusco, they gave us a refreshment and a bag of fried potatoes in the Van and took us to great restaurants in Cusco! I would like to note that Ana, the guide who took this tour, saved the experience from being a disaster. She is a dear and even with snow, the walk was very nice and beautiful. Ah! I asked on WhatsApp: "Vcs does not have any registered restaurant with vcs in Cusco? This tour was the most expensive we had and we expected a better lunch." I'd be starving now if I was waiting for the answer... Pq so far she hasn't come.

Highly recommended, great experience!
Overall, great experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was very kind and courteous. In our group, we had an older individual that the tour guide was very watchful of and helped them throughout the tour. The ATVs made the trip the beautiful peak much easier. Would highly recommend this group and tour! Thanks so much for a great experience!

Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco cost?
+
Prices start at $230 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rainbow Mountain Private ATV Tour with Lunch from Cusco start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
