Amazing tour, but disappointing and unprofessional communication afterwards
I’m very disappointed that the communication from the organizer changed so much after the tour had already taken place. I took the tour alone, and during the tour itself I was completely satisfied with the guide, the tour, and the overall experience. It was genuinely incredible. There were a few rude comments directed at me, communication that felt overly familiar, and I was pushed quite strongly in the caves due to the crowds. However, I understand the difficulties of managing people in such conditions, so I chose not to let these things affect my experience or my mood. Unfortunately, I never received the photos that had been promised. When I contacted the organizer and simply asked for the link, I started receiving messages accusing me of being rude and claiming that something about my behavior had upset the guide. They then apparently decided on their own not to send me the photos. These accusations were completely unexpected and, in my opinion, unfounded. I barely spoke during the entire tour—just a few sentences. What was especially inappropriate was that one member of the team referred to me as “princess.” This kind of communication is unprofessional and unacceptable, especially when dealing with a customer who is simply asking for something that was promised. It’s a real shame, because the tour itself was excellent and I would have been happy to recommend it based on the experience alone. Unfortunately, the unprofessional communication afterwards left a very negative impression and significantly changed my overall opinion of the company.
Response from the operator: Dear Madam, We respect your opinion and your right to express it, but we cannot confirm or agree with most of the claims made in your review. Your behavior during the rafting tour was, from our perspective, completely unacceptable. In more than four years of operation and with more than 20,000 guests, we have encountered all kinds of situations and all kinds of personalities. However, we have never experienced behavior that came even close to what we experienced from you. For that reason, you were the only guest in our entire history to whom we consciously decided not to send the photo link. We do not wish to share the details of your behavior publicly or turn this into a personal argument, as we do not believe that would be appropriate. However, we believe some context should be made clear. In more than four years and with over 20,000 guests, you are the only person to whom we have ever intentionally withheld the photos. You are also, as far as we know, the only guest who has left a negative review about us on Viator. We are not saying that this alone automatically makes either side right, but we believe it shows that this situation was an exception rather than a reflection of how we normally treat our guests. We do acknowledge that withholding the photo link was not the right way to handle the situation, and for that we sincerely apologize. That was our mistake. After seeing your negative review, however, we decided to respond differently. Despite everything that happened, we chose to send you the photo link after all. We did not want to continue the situation in a negative way. We believe that when someone responds with negativity, the better choice is to respond with kindness instead — because we believe that good should always be answered with good, and even negativity can be met with kindness. So yes, we apologize for initially withholding the photo link. In the end, you received all of your photos, as you should have from the beginning. We wish you all the best and many wonderful experiences on your future travels. Good luck and all the best from the tired, but always happy and smiling, Rio Rafting team.

Great fun
We had a brilliant time with Rio Rafting in Omis. The guides make the experience lots of fun. We are a family of 5 and had the raft to ourselves. The river wasn’t that high but still some good rapids. We got off into a cave and jumped into cold water and then climbed through the cave out under a waterfall. Then our next stop was a cliff jump. It was such good fun and really good as a family. Would recommend

Incredible
An incredible experience! Everything was fantastic, made even better by Dori, who made the whole thing really fun. From the cave to the descents and the "bomba", I recommend it 100%

Absolutely fantastic day…..well worth the money and we want to visit again just to do this all over again!!!! Cave was incredible and the cliff jumping we left that to the teenagers 😂 3 hours of beautiful river. Our guide was super friendly and had a laugh with all of us. Lovely little group and we loved it,was the highlight of our whole holiday.

Why this scores 79
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12|: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Split.
How much does Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12| cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Split usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12| take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Split is not rushed.
Is Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12| worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 90 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Split, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12|?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12| suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12|?
+
Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Split can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Split and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Rafting with cave exploring & cliff jumping |Go Pro 12| start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Split within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Split?
+
On Outty we rank every Split experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Split Small-Group Walking Tour with a Magister of History, Split Walking Tour with Professor of History, From Split: Krka Waterfalls, Food & Wine Tasting Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Split?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Split?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
