Not worth the money.
Our trip on the fishing boat was mixed. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the pier where we boarded the boat with others. As we pulled out, we thought we were moving slowly and would speed up, but we stayed at the same speed the whole trip. There was no safety briefing, although we were handed a life jacket upon boarding. It took an hour and a half to get close to where we fished, with other boats, flying by us. While moving, the boat had some trawl lines out and one fish was caught, with one passenger getting to reel it in. We then stopped at 3 spots for group fishing. The crew were good, baiting lines and taking fish off the hooks - all small fish. We then ate the fish and stopped by the island - the Tom yum was really nice and rice, chicken and fish were also served. We got to swim for about 15-20 minutes in nice waters, but we asked about snorkels and we were told we had to pay 100 baht even though it is advertised as included. That concluded our activities which probably lasted 1.5-2 hours. Upon our slow journey home we were met by a crew member with a tip box who put it in front of us and looked at us until we gave some money. Overall the experience delivered some fishing, which was okay, a short stop and not much else. The majority of the trip was going to and from the island. While the crew were helpful, English was not spoken as advertised on the site also. If we had known some of these things prior to getting on board, we probably would not have paid the money.

False Accusations and Terrible Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with the service and the completely unfounded accusation from this tour company. I chose not to board the boat solely due to severe health and hygiene safety concerns. Multiple passengers waiting to board were visibly and audibly very unwell—coughing heavily and wiping their noses directly into their hands. Rather than addressing the obvious health hazards and protecting their customers, the company tried to twist my safety concerns into a racial issue to avoid giving me a refund. To claim I didn't board because of the guests' nationality is offensive and entirely false. It had absolutely nothing to do with race and everything to do with not wanting to get sick in an enclosed space. Terrible customer service and a complete lack of accountability.

Fishing wasn't easy but we had a great day
We booked this because we wanted something different from the usual island tour. I only caught a couple of fish, but that honestly didn't matter much. Being out on the sea with the scenery around Racha Island was relaxing on its own. The crew kept checking on everyone without being over the top, and there was plenty of time to just sit back and enjoy the ride.
