Fantastic day trip to Cotopaxi!
My husband and I went with Stefany and Christian to Cotopaxi and did the climb to the refugio followed by a stop at the lake and delicious lunch. It was a fantastic trip and one of the highlights of our stay in Quito. Stefany was an excellent guide—friendly hand very knowledgeable with Ecuador history, culture and Cotopaxi geography and wildlife. They were on time and organized and got us there earlier in the day, which was key for getting a great view of the mountain. I’ll also note that we were originally interested in another tour (hopefully to see condors at Antisana). The team at Instinto let us know it was not the best time of year for that. I appreciated the honesty, and in the end we got lucky and saw a condor at Cotopaxi!
