Best Quilotoa tour!
Our guide Ayrton is the best!!! He joined our group of 5 traveling friends and felt more like we were touring with a friend than a guide. Very informative, knowledgeable, friendly, professional and caring. The climb out of Quilotoa was tough on me, hard on 55 year old legs and heart. But he stayed with me the whole time ensuring we all finished safely. Well worth the trip. We will highly recommend the tour company and this guide. This was my second Quilotoa tour.
Response from the operator: Hi Thank you for your heartfelt feedback! We're thrilled to hear that Ayrton made your experience so enjoyable and supportive. Your recommendation means a lot, and we look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures!

Amazing view and great guide!
A really great trip and a really nice guide named Pedro. And you get a lot for the money. We went to a local market, local farmer, and a local gallery before heading to the lagoon. The view here was really amazing! We got some time for ourselves to go down to the crater and kayak (kayak not included but only 3 dollars per person). Afterwards lunch were included. The guide Pedro is very reliable and you feel comfortable in his presence. I recommend bringing snacks and lots of water as the trek back up from the crater can be challenging. And dress in layers as it is very cold and windy on top and warm down in the crater. I can really recommend this trip, guide and company.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We're delighted you enjoyed the trip with Pedro and appreciated the local market, farmer, gallery, and the stunning lagoon. Your recommendations for snacks, water, and dressing in layers are valuable for future travelers. We look forward to welcoming you back! Best regards,

Fantastic!!!!
I had a great experience with the Quilotoa tour! Mainly due our amazing guide Pedro in Quito! He was just incredible! He knew pretty much everything about the history, culture and people of Ecuador! My friend made lots of questions and he answered all of them with minimum details and with a perfect English!!! Pedro was so patient with us, he didn’t rush us at all, he made lots of stops so we could take pictures, and of course, every stop he gave us lots of information about the place! Just what we look for on a guide! We now want to go for other tours and will make sure we’ll have him as our guide again! It was a great experience and it was worth every penny! Thank you again Pedro!
Response from the operator: Thanks for your review. It is important that your trip to Quilotoa has been well attended by our experienced Real Dreams Tour team. We hope to see you again soon! Best regards,

Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quito.
How much does Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito cost?
+
Prices start at $90 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quito usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quito is not rushed.
Is Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quito, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quito can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quito and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Quilotoa Lagoon Tour – All Inclusive Day Trip from Quito start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quito within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Quito?
+
On Outty we rank every Quito experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cotopaxi tour from Quito -horseback ride and hike-NO TOURISTY way, Baños Full Day Tour from Quito Including Entrances and Activities, Gastronomic and Cultural Walking Tour of Quito with Tastings. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Quito?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Quito?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
