About this experience
Experience Sunset Kayaking at its best in the famous outer parts of the Archipelago of Stockholm where the sunset lasts for hours. Listen to the quiet sounds of nature and watch the beautiful sky turning red and orange mirroring its colors in the oceans glittery waters. Forget about time and relax fully, let your mind drift with the clouds and breath in the fresh air full of oxygen while having a Fika with a view over the sea. Immerse in the local island lifestyle and join me, Alexandra, to my home area and to the forest reserve where we will be greeted by my friend who welcomes us to his home and kayak rental. There is no rush we will take our time to slow down and enjoy natures presence. I like to paddle in a peaceful and easy flow and will adjust the pace to your comfort and level of kayaking experience. Serene Archipelago kayak with the lovely Alexandra 😊
Amazing experience. Alexandra is a wonderful guide with a real passion for nature and the outdoors, which is infectious! She tailor-made the trip at short notice and was the perfect host - even providing a wonderful fika stop mid-kayak 😁 Would highly recommend kayaking the Archipelago, which was peaceful and beautiful - bringing balance to a trip to busy Stockholm.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely company and Warm welcome back! 🤗☀️💦

Amazing sunset on the archipelago
Alexandra gave us a lovely experience in the Stockholm archipelago. She picked me up in her car and drove myself and two others 40 min outside of Stockholm to a nature reserve. She helped us choose kayaks and had PFDs and spray skirts and took our input for deciding our route. There were only 3 of us plus her, so very personalized experience. We went at a leisurely pace and wound our way through little islands and rocky outcroppings. She brought a yummy dinner that we ate on the water and later we also rested mid paddle for fika and watched the sunset. In the car on the way back we saw deer and a young moose. The trip took twice as long as expected but she asked if that was ok before we started out on the longer trip. Would highly recommend her for a quiet paddle to really enjoy the beauty of the area.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We really had a wonderful time and seeing the moos was the cherry on top as natures gift : ) Warm welcome back!

An experience of a lifetime with a talented guide
What an amazing time and led by a very talented guide. If I could give this 6 stars out of 5, I would! An experience of a lifetime and worth every penny several times over on so many levels. And far more wonderful than just a simple kayak ride. It was a spiritual experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for joining me to the sea! It was so much fun : ) I look forward to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. 👋

Why this scores 63
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Stockholm.
How much does Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago cost?
+
Prices start at $888 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Stockholm usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago take?
+
Plan for about 4.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Stockholm is not rushed.
Is Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Stockholm, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Stockholm can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Stockholm and add a light layer if any part of the 4.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Quiet Sunset Kayaking in Stockholm Archipelago start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Stockholm within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Stockholm?
+
On Outty we rank every Stockholm experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Stockholm: Walking Tour of the Old Town, Best of Stockholm: Small Group Walking Tour (Max 10, 3 Hours), Vasa Museum Guided Tour, Including Ticket & Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Stockholm?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Stockholm?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
