    Fun introduction

It is a self guided tour / scavenger hunt that is a fun way to start your visit in QC. I just wish it was longer....it was really a neat experience!

Response from the operator: Kicking off a QC visit with a hunt is exactly the vibe we're after, Doug — glad it set the tone for the rest of your trip. And "I wish it was longer" might be the nicest complaint we get: we build them to hit the highligths without dragging, but I'll pass your note along, since we're always looking at how to add more to explore. Plenty more citys waiting whenever you're up for the next round. Your Explorial Team

    Great walk

It was easy to navigate, learnt some things. Enjoyed the walk at our pace. Would recommend trying this.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much Fedele! Wandering through Québec at your own pace and picking up a few new facts along the way – mission accomplished, we'd say. Really appreciate the recomendation, that means a lot to us. Next city adventure is waiting whenever you are! Your Explorial Team

Great adventure for kids and families!

This was a fun, engaging tour. We let the kids be our guides and navigate us around the old city. We got a bit of history mixed with modern information and the game was interesting and kept us engaged. We saw things we otherwise would have missed or didn't even know about which was wonderful. I think the game can be further expanded to include the Citadel and Plains of Abraham. It wasn't too much walking and kept the kids (13, 13 and 10) engaged. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We hope to see you playing Explorial again soon in other cities.

    So fun with teens

We had 2 young teens on one team, mom on one team, dad on one team. We saw parts of the city we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Loved this.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We hope to see you playing Explorial again soon in other cities.

Need Data on phone to play.

You need data on your phone. We paid for 2 tickets but once we got there, my husband couldn't play because he didn't have data. We paid for him to play and couldn't play. It was disappointing.

Response from the operator: We are very sorry to hear your experience didn't go as expected and that you encountered some issues while playing. Your feedback is very important to us and feel free to contact our customer support team at mail@explorial.com to request the refund. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quebec City.

How much does Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt cost?

    +

Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quebec City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quebec City is not rushed.

Is Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quebec City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quebec City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quebec City and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Quebec Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quebec City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quebec City?

    +

On Outty we rank every Quebec City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Old Quebec Classique Walking Tour with Funicular, Uncover Old Quebec: Fun Walking Tour with a guide-Gratuity based, Quebec City Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quebec City?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quebec City?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
