    Fun day!

A lot of fun and Mark, our guide, was great! I would recommend adding a dip in the swimming hole as an option. The outside temp was very hot and a quick dip would have been great! Maybe also allow a little time for shopping.

Sightseeing on quad bikes, whats not to like!

Family run operation with clearly a very experienced guide (Mark) taking us round gravel trails and quiet back lanes of the Algarve which we would never have found otherwise. A couple of interesting stops along the way for a break from the bikes and picking up some knowledge on the area. Might be worth seeking them out direct rather than using booking platforms. Chilled sightseeing on quad bikes, whats not to like!

Great Fun and Perfect Amount of Adrenaline!

We went on a quad adventure and had an amazing time! It was a great experience — just the right amount of adrenaline. We visited a small farm and a beautiful waterfall. Our guide was excellent — very friendly and shared lots of interesting facts along the way. Highly recommended!

Fantastic afternoon tour of the Algarve ‘outback’!

Absolutely fantastic afternoon tour around the Paderne area! Would say 80% of the tour was dusty off-road tracks - which was brilliant. Amazing sights to see, and a little stop off at an organic farm was a lovely little treat. We bought a jar of their ‘spicy’ honey which is also incredible. To help this small business I would recommend you book directly on their website rather than TripAdvisor or Get Your Guide who take massive commission fees!

Superb day out with some lovely people!

Just back and still buzzing from a great day out with Mark and Simone. I did the "Alte and Beyond" tour which included a stop at a little herb farm where we sampled a couple of shots of Medronho and honey mixed with various flavours, absolutely delicious. There were many herbs and spices to buy there, both for cooking and medicinal purposes. Our next stop was the river at Alte, a quaint little award winning village where there was an option of cooling off in the crystal clear water. Afterwards, we sped down into the centre of the village and stopped off for a typical Portuguese lunch which consisted of bread, olives, paté, cheese, fresh salad drizzled with vinaigrette and olive oil and crispy chicken and chips. This was served with a drink of our choice and a cold beer went down very nicely as we dined outside. I was travelling solo but Mark and Simone made sure I was included in the conversation and I enjoyed hearing about their travels and snippets of history Mark knew about the area. The quads were large 300 cc and very comfortable to ride. We travelled at a good pace but it wasn't too extreme so I feel it would definitely suit families and couples alike. We rode off road but also through local villages which I think is just as nice to see the relaxed lifestyle of the Portuguese people. We received as much water as we needed throughout the tour. Simone sent some good directions for me to use with my Uber ride there and she ordered a taxi for me to get back to my hotel in Silves which cost an affordable €25. Everything was well run. I had a fabulous day out and I'll be back again for sure. Thanks Mark and Simone!

Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Faro.

How much does Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira cost?

    +

Prices start at $109 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Faro usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Faro is not rushed.

Is Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Faro, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira?

    +

Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Faro can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Faro and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Quad Biking Sightseeing Tour in Albufeira start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Faro within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Faro?

    +

On Outty we rank every Faro experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ria Formosa - Boat trip to the 3 Islands: Armona | Culatra Island | Lighthouse, From Faro: Benagil Cave, Marinha & Carvoeiro [Full-Day Tour], Ria Formosa Natural Park and Islands Boat Cruise from Faro. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Faro?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Faro?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
