Our beautiful and modern fishing boat Sherlock 39 is anchored in the beautiful place of Punta Cana, just a 15 min drive from airport Punta Cana. And only 30 minutes from the furthest situated resort in Punta Cana. Navigated by the local Dominican Captain with more than 9 years of successful experience and a 1st. mate assistant. The fishing boat is perfectly equipped with top class equipment for deep sea Caribbean fishing. Our fishermen rarely come back empty handed, and you can count of the trophy size catch in those waters. Private van transfer is available and included in our price.

Great crew but below average fishing boat.
Crew was fantastic. However the condition of the boat was below average. Not enough seating to accommodate the amount of people and the exhaust was putting out so much smoke. The boat was not up to the standard of the price. Sherlock 1. Put should not be doing charters.

We are sorry that the condition and seating arrangement of Sherlock did not meet your expectations. Regarding the smoke midway through the trip the turbocharger on one of the engines unexpectedly began leaking oil into the exhaust system which caused the excessive smoke. Our mechanic inspected the engine the following day and replaced the turbocharger cartridge. The problem has now been completely resolved. Guest safety and proper vessel maintenance are always priorities for us. We also believe that the charter is fairly priced, especially considering the significant increase in fuel and operating costs. Nevertheless, we will carefully review the other concerns you mentioned and make any necessary improvements. Thanks for time with us and fishing with us. Friendly. Capt. Yustas Fortuna

Best Fishing Experience Ever
This trip is well worth the money! They will pick you up at the resort and treat you like family. Andy was the absolute best! He was very knowledgeable of the area we were fishing. He was very helpful throughout the whole day. He truly went out of his way to make sure our whole family was comfortable. Our trip started off a bit slow. If you are in the Punta Cana area, this is the fishing trip for you!

This was truly a...
This was truly a five-star fishing experience from beginning to end. We had an incredibly successful day on the water, catching both mahi-mahi and mackerel. Captain Rosario demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and knowledge throughout the trip, while Andy was an outstanding first mate who worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone had a memorable experience. Their teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to making the excursion enjoyable were evident at every stage. They were personable, patient, and highly experienced, and they made the entire trip both exciting and comfortable. I would recommend this experience without hesitation and would absolutely book with Captain Rosario and Andy again.
