Kevin was AMAZING! His energy, knowledge & personal touches made my birthday unforgettable. Best tour of my trip!
This was hands down the BEST tour of my Dominican Republic trip! Kevin created an authentic, personalized cultural experience that I will never forget. We explored Puerto Plata from so many different perspectives; from the Amber Museum, rum and chocolate experiences, and authentic Dominican neighborhoods to the beautiful countryside. We walked through a plantation, picked fresh fruit from the trees, fed animals, tried local tea and starfruit juice, and even stopped for authentic empanadas. Kevin shared so much knowledge about Dominican history and culture, and he made everything feel genuine rather than like a typical tourist excursion. Because it was my birthday, Kevin went completely ABOVE and BEYOND. He decorated the entire car with balloons, arranged a beautiful birthday cake made by his wife, and surprised me throughout the day with music, singing, musicians, and unforgettable cultural moments. At one point, I was surrounded by birds while feeding them, it was truly magical! Kevin was also incredibly thoughtful. When we got hungry, he paused the tour and took us to one of his favorite local restaurants. He was punctual, attentive, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we were having a great time. What made this experience so special was Kevin himself. His energy is infectious, his love for Dominican culture is obvious, and he has a natural gift for making visitors feel welcomed and connected to the country. If the company creates the birthday experience Kevin envisioned, I would absolutely recommend it. He has something truly special, and I hope he gets the opportunity to share it with many more travelers! Our tour with Jahaziel was truly one of the highlights of our trip to the Dominican Republic! He took us beyond the typical tourist experience, showing us both the beautiful countryside and the highlights of the city while giving us a genuine glimpse into the culture and the people. Jahaziel was warm, welcoming, honest, helpful, creative, and incredibly accommodating. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and treated us like family. What we loved most was that the focus wasn’t just on seeing places—it was on understanding the culture, meeting people, and experiencing the Dominican Republic in a meaningful and authentic way. We had a great time...
We had a great time seeing the highlights of Puerto Plata. Jahaziel, our guide did a great job meeting us as he advised in his directions. He spoke good English for our friends who were not Spanish speakers. Before the tour he reviewed the itinerary he had for us. He also was accommodating to changes, including adding some beach time, and cigar factories. We would definitely look him up on our next trip. He demonstrated professionalism and is an example of what Dominican culture has to offer.

Mix of tourist and hidden gems
We had a wonderful time! Jahaziel was so fun and accommodating to our family. You can tell he loves his city and wants to show the tourists both the hot tourist spots, as well as the hidden gems. You get a mix of both. We travel with three small children and one person who needed a wheelchair/cane and he made everyone comfortable. We loved touring through Puerto Plata, such a beautiful city. Mama Carmen to start was our favorite 💗 worth it just for her hospitality!

Great taste of the Dominican Relublic.
This is a very interesting and educational tour. Our tour guide was amazing and was a local who had a lot of insight and knowledge. The only complaint is when we went to a farm they charged us double for things. When we went into town, things were a lot cheaper - like 1/2 the price.
