No-show, don't book this tour.

The guide never showed up to pick us up on the day confirmed. We woke up early and prepared to be picked up. We stood outside waiting in the cold for 45 minutes (with two kids and a pregnant woman) while I tried to contact the company, the guide, and viator to see if anyone was coming. Eventually, I got ahold of someone and they told us all the guides were booked for that day and they would not be coming. We were refunded but there were no other options given and no support. We went back inside and had to rearrange our itinerary for our vacation, so that we could still visit Puebla on another day, with another company. We had planned to visit Puebla on a Monday because most of the museums in Mexico City we wanted to visit are closed on Mondays, and we had limited time on this vacation to fit in the museums we were interested in. This mishap ended up costing us a lot of time.

Response from the operator: hI Katie, You should review your personal travel schedules, before writing such kind of review.....because: you've booked our PUebla and Cholula tour for Dec 29th, and our guide came to pick you up on 29th, on time. You weren't there, because you thought that the tour was scheduled for Dec 30th, and unfortunately, we couldn't reschedule for the next day because of the high season. SO,.....who did the NO Show is you....not us!!! Bests!

Wonderful tour of Cholula and Puebla

We had a wonderful time on our private tour of Cholula and Puebla! Our tour guide, Alfredo, was very interesting and very accommodating. My husband needs to use a walker to get around, and cannot do a lot of walking, so our tour was probably accommodated for his needs. This is just what we wanted, and I would be happy to use this company again. Thank you for a very nice excursion!

A Quiet Tour

We had a very good driver. Considering how far away Puebla and Cholula are, that was important. He didn’t have a lot to share about the places we visited though, or any recommendations on things to see / do while we were there, and I found myself trying to listen in to other tours and looking on Yelp for places I should go see or eat.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, we would like to thank you for your review and suggestions, which will be considered to improve the quality of our services. Our Best.

PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Mexico City.

How much does PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour cost?

+

Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Mexico City usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour take?

+

Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Mexico City is not rushed.

Is PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Mexico City, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 10-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Mexico City can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Mexico City and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PUEBLA historic colonial center and CHOLULA neighborhood Private day tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Mexico City within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Mexico City?

+

On Outty we rank every Mexico City experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Frida Kahlo VIP [Museum Tickets Included] Walk, Markets & Churros, Local Foodie Adventure CDMX: Tacos & more with Sherpa Food Tours, Mexico City Historical Centre Food Tour with 7 Tastings & Drinks. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Mexico City?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
