Thung is a very good guide. Very interesting hikes in a superb setting. However, the 6-hour journey must be included.

The local tour doesn’t honor to the posting in internet for private room with the price, after book the tour we did request for private room the price go up double and change activity with out notice

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review! Dear Tuan Nguyen, you asked all the information about the private room and we provided information, but you didn't confirm any reservation and payment for the room, until the day before you did the trip. And about the boat trip, the local government banned and they didn't inform us. So we are sorry that we couldn't notice you earlier. We didn't pass it, we provided trekking itinerary instead.

    The tour that overpromise

I went for this tour for 6 activities to be completed as per tour descrption on viator website. My rating is 2/5 mainly due to following reasons: 1st - We completed only 1 activity out of 6 (second day was raining). HOWEVER even if the weather was good during 2nd day, it would not be possible to complete other activities in just 4 hours, as the tour finishes 2pm on second day and there is bus back to Hanoi 2nd - in descrption of the tour there is bbq dinner with local rice wine mentioned. It did not happen and the weather cannot be a reason for this because during 1st day it was ok 3rd - there are no alternatives when it is rainy. We were offered relaxing in the hotel during the rain on 2nd day. It is not what we paid for! What we liked was food in restaurant and view from the hotel. But this is not compensanting the money we paid. Please do not let them fool you that you can complete couple of long trekkings and some other activities in just 8 hours - this is time you have effectively during 2 days. When I complained they returned me 10% of my money.

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review, Pawel! We are sorry for your recent trip. But it was raining and we informed you about the slipery trekking. On the first day we still provide the activities. On the second day, it rained heavily, so we cannot do. Even if we could go there then we had to do hard trekking to go to the wheel. And our tour guide informed you before already. As you can see. Our tour included: 1. Round trip limousine + minivan transfer (30 USD/person) 2. Homestay (15 USD/person) 3. Meals (10 USD/meal, total is about 35USD with breakfast) 4. Sightseeing ticket (20 USD) Total: 100 USD So please let us know why you request for 50% refund? Because of the sightseeing not being covered by raining weather? We just can offer 10% refund. We are the operator and it is the group tour, we just tried our best to offer the best tours upon the weather. But we do hope the next trip with better weather, we can offer the better trip. Best regards Luan

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Hanoi.

How much does Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi cost?

    +

Prices start at $105 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Hanoi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Hanoi is not rushed.

Is Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Hanoi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi?

    +

Is Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Hanoi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Hanoi and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pu Luong Nature Reserve 2 Days 1 Night Tour from Hanoi start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Hanoi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Hanoi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Ninh Binh Day Trip from Hanoi with Tam Coc or Trang An & Mua Cave, Ha Giang Loop Tour 4 Days 3 Nights with Ha Giang Vision Tour, Halong Bay Day Tour With Titop Island, Cave, Kayak & Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Hanoi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Hanoi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
