No Communication Followed by Cancellation
I received virtually no communication from the photographer prior to the photoshoot. The day before my group's scheduled photoshoot, I received an email telling me that the photographer had Covid and they had no other available photographers. I understand that people get sick and I feel bad for the photographer, but like I said, there was absolutely no communication prior to. It was a scramble to find another photographer the day before for our group of 7, but luckily we found Ohahu Family Photographer who was able to take care of us on such a short notice.

Great experience and service
Michelle was amazing. We booked a last minute family photo session and recommended locations we wouldn’t have known as she’s local and knows the best places. She was easy to work with and flexible and gave us directions and tips during the shoot.

Honolulu family photo shoot
It was a great experience with Anna, our photographer, however, its a big pain in the butt working with the people behind the scene, the editors. They supposedly send me a link for my photos but it was not the right link, it takes a whole 48 hrs for them to resend another link and it was the link for another family. Now i will have to wait another 48 hrs for them to resend and hope its the right photo shoot of my family.

Poor and highly unprofessional
The experience was not good at all. The photographer didn’t come prepare and my son had to hold her instrument to help her with the shoot. She took longer than expected and sent only 43 pictures and the other 43 were same copy black n white. She also didn’t include a lot of pictures. I requested for more pictures that were click by the beach and I was told they will send it but nothing came through. I’ll not recommend this to anyone.

Anastasia is highly recommended!
Anastasia was so personable and fun to work with! She did hundreds of poses, and the venue she recommended (Magic Island) was perfect! She is an above- and- beyond photographer, and we ate so happy that she was chosen to do our shoot! We will look her up if we come back! We can't speak yet about the photos themselves, but the ones she showed us in her camera window were great, and she took such care with lighting, background, etc, that in sure they will be amazing!

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Professional Photographer in Honolulu: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Oahu.
How much does Professional Photographer in Honolulu cost?
+
Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Oahu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Professional Photographer in Honolulu take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Oahu is not rushed.
Is Professional Photographer in Honolulu worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Oahu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Professional Photographer in Honolulu?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Professional Photographer in Honolulu suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Professional Photographer in Honolulu?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Oahu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Oahu and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Professional Photographer in Honolulu start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Oahu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Oahu?
+
On Outty we rank every Oahu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Oahu: Full or Half Day Grand Circle Island Tour, Oahu Small-Group Circle Island Tour with Turtle Snorkeling, Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Oahu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Oahu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
