    Private yacht excursion

It was amazing! I still have the impression of the trip. These beautiful views of the sea and beach will be forever in my heart and on Instagram. Thank you to the team for the cheerful accompaniment and delicious lunch on board. By the way, lunch is not included and we paid separately, but it was not expensive. The snorkeling was not so impressive, but we saw starfish, manta rays and some fish. I will return again to Dominican Republic, it is my love forever!💚

Response from the operator: ¡Muchas gracias por tu reseña tan cálida! Nos alegra saber que el tour dejó huella en tu corazón. 💚 ¡Te esperamos de nuevo en la hermosa República Dominicana! 🌴☀️🐠

    Different from the description

This excursion ended up being fun, but it was not what we (my family of 6) expected. The boat for the tour wasn't really set up for this type of excursion. There were snorkels and masks, but no flippers. The ladder to get onto the boat from the water was broken, making it very hard to get in. This private tour initially went to a place that was crowded with other noisy boats full of partiers. We asked to move to a different spot and our captain did. The captain and his assistant were very kind and accommodating. They clearly wanted us to enjoy ourselves and served us drinks and snacks. The snorkeling was average. Many small fish and not much colorful growth on the seabed. A highlight was going to the "piscine" - a large shallow area near a lush peninsula without any buildings or people. It was very serene. It was definitely nice to get out on the water, but the quality of the excursion was disappointing for the cost.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your honest feedback. We're glad you enjoyed parts of the tour and appreciated the crew’s efforts. We’ll review the issues you mentioned to improve future experiences.

What should I bring or wear?

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Punta Cana?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Punta Cana?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
