Don’t miss this experience!
This was a don’t miss experience. We really enjoyed learning about KINTSUGI and trying our hand at the various steps in the process. Our host was knowledgeable, skilled charming, and an excellent communicator. She even made a great recommendation for a place for us to get dinner after the workshop. We very much enjoyed our afternoon. We would recommend this to any curious travelers.

She was incredibly...
She was incredibly informative and made the entire experience fun and interesting. Not only did we come away with a neat experience but also knowledge and a new found appreciation for restoration. Would highly recommend!

Learn history of Kintsugi and create art- don’t miss this experience!!
We were greeted by the artist at her studio, given tea and cookies and then she presented the history of kintsugi. Because the actual process takes weeks to complete, we worked on the various steps (there are 5) on different items. For the final step (adding the gold) we choose an item ready for the final step and added the gold. The entire experience was well thought out, planned and executed. We had an amazing time, learned about an ancient art and took home a lovely and unique souvenir! What more could you ask for?! Highly recommend!!!

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kanazawa?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kanazawa?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
