Amazing wine tasting tour in spectacular surroundings.
We had an amazing day visiting three vineyards and having lunch in a beautiful setting. Camille has a wealth of knowledge regarding wines, the locality and local history, and we learned a lot through the day, both at the tutored tastings in spectacular surroundings and through the easy conversation with the members of our family. The quality of the wines offered was very good indeed, and we would thoroughly commend Camille and this tour.

Wonderful!
This was such a great experience. Peter picked us up at our villa and drove us to two boutique wineries. He was informative, pleasant to talk to, and so helpful! He reserved a restaurant for us at a beautiful restaurant in Saint Paul de Vence and then took us to a gorgeous winery with unique methods. Overall, an amazing experience that everyone in our group enjoyed. 10/10

.A Five Star Experience
We did a combination transfer and wine tour traveling from Avignon to Nice. We visited two wineries for a tour and tasting. Edwin was our sommelier and driver and he was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and really helped us to explore and appreciate the qualities of the wines. After our tastings he arranged a beautiful outdoor lunch. He also provided us with a very informative and interesting tasting guide. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Azur Wine Tours

Provence Wine Tasting
Our private tour with our wine expert named Frank was excellent. He took us to three family own vineyards where we toured each vineyard and had tastings. We also went to lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Saint Paul de Vence which he suggested where he also gave us time to walk around the town and do some shopping if we wanted to. It turned out to be a beautiful day and a wonderful experience. We even bought some wine at the very last Vineyard to be shipped home to the US. I highly recommend him as a guide for this tour in Provence. He has been involved in winemaking in this area for most of his life.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Deborah, for taking the time to pen such a lovely review and recommendation following your wine tour with Franck in the hills around Nice. Enjoy the wines when they get home to you in the USA, and the memories they will bring back. Merci !

Great Private Tour with Sommelier!
This was the first time on a private wine tour where our guide was a trained sommelier - a great opportunity to learn and discuss more about each of the wines we experienced! The vineyards were great, the lunch spot in St Paul was beautiful...we highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing to experience our Private Tour format, where you obviously enjoyed the benefit of your very own, private sommelier guide. Thanks for the great recommendation.

Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Nice.
How much does Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera cost?
+
Prices start at $555 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Nice usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Nice is not rushed.
Is Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Nice, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Nice can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Nice and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Wine Tour of the vineyards on the French Riviera start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Nice within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Nice?
+
On Outty we rank every Nice experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include ★ Walking Tour of Old Nice and Castle Hill, NO DIET CLUB - Unique Local Food in Nice !, Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Nice?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Nice?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
