Great way to spend the day!

We had an absolutely wonderful wine tour from Zagreb! Our driver and guide, Tomislav, was friendly, knowledgeable and full of interesting information about the area. We started with a visit to Samobor, where we had time for a quick tour, a cup of coffee and a taste of a local dessert before heading into wine country. We then visited two wineries, and one of the highlights was having the opportunity to sit and talk directly with the winemakers. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the wines, but even more appreciated the time each winemaker spent sharing their wines, stories and passion with us. The entire day felt relaxed, personal and never rushed. Tomislav was an excellent guide throughout the experience and made the day even more enjoyable.

    Great wine tour!

My sister and I had such a great time on this tour! Both local wineries had delicious wines, beautiful views, and great food. As a bonus, both wineries were also organic. Our tour guide was very informative and friendly and helped make our tour even better. Would fully recommend!

    Fantastic day in beauriful wineries!

We visited two wineries that had excellent wines. The owner of Jagunic spent as much time as he could imtroducing each of the 6 wines. Many were sparkling wines and all of the wines were delicious . A charcuterie board was presented with locally made meats and cheese with bread made by the two owners grandmother! The next tasting also has delicious charcuterie . Our guide was a careful driver and also showed us sights in Samabor. I would repeat this trip over and over if I could!

Wonderful day with a wonderful guide!

My friend and I had a wonderful day wine tasting and visiting the sites at Samobor. We visited two beautiful wineries, one a small family owned winery whose winemaker educated us all about Croatian wines and happily answered our many questions. Tomislav is a safe driver and tour guide who planned a wonderful trip for us! I would definitely recommend Mapping Croatia.

Response from the operator: Dear Christy, thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled you enjoyed the experience — it means the world to us!

Great day with amazing local people

Such an amazing experience! Our tour guide’s knowledge of the area was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for him. The winery served us great food and great wine that we ended up purchasing to be shipped to us.

Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Zagreb.

How much does Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor cost?

    +

Prices start at $147 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Zagreb usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Zagreb is not rushed.

Is Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 20 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Zagreb, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Zagreb can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Zagreb and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Wine Tour from Zagreb: Two Local Wineries & Samobor start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Zagreb within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Zagreb?

    +

On Outty we rank every Zagreb experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Communism & Croatian Homeland War Tour, Zagreb Highlights: Old Town, WWII tunnels, Funicular & Tastings, Old Zagreb Private Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Zagreb?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Zagreb?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
