Highlight of our trip!
We had a lovely meal in a super setting. The outstanding food worked so well with tasting the wine. Roger brings wine to life and the choices of wine to taste, talk about and compare were made perfectly. This was a highlight of our trip to Seville and we were a party of six but I can see this working well in slightly larger groups too.
Response from the operator: Thank you for writing such a great review. I am glad that you enjoyed the evening so much.

A wonderful evening
We had a wonderful evening with Roger who is an engaging host. He selected some interesting and tasty wines, including some from his personal cellar. The food pairings were well selected and he talked us through each wine knowledgeably (with occasional maps).
Response from the operator: I am so glad that you enjoyed the wine tasting dinner and that you enjoyed the wines that I selected. I hope to meet you again in the future.

Best Part of our Trip
My husband and I took a trip to Seville with our other two friends. We were in Seville for 3 days and were interested in a wine tasting experience. We are very glad we found Roger and AQOT! Unfortunately, the restaurant where the tasting and dinner are typically held was closed that day, but that actually turned out to be for the better! Instead Roger met us at our hotel and took us to 4 tapas places in the neighborhood and we tried wines, Iberian ham and tapas. Roger has lived in Spain for 30 years and was very knowledgeable about Spanish lifestyle and culture and it was great to get that firsthand experience through the local food. We went to some local hidden gems and ordered foods we never would have thought to try. He gave us just the right amount of information about sherry making and the process of farming Iberian ham. Roger was also a great guy to spend time with. Easily the highlight of our trip!
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful review on the wine tasting and tapasa tour that you did with me. I hope that you'll be drinking more Spanish wine in the future!

Great evening!
Thank you Roger for spending the time with us. We learnt lots about Spanish wine/sherry and tapas paring. Good food, good wine & good company!
Response from the operator: I am so glad that you enjoyed the wine tasting at El Rinconcillo. I hope that this means you drink more Spanish wine in the future!

Excellent Wine Tasting and Meal
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Roger and A Question of Taste. He was clearly knowledgeable about Spanish wine, food, and culture. He helped explain the differences in Spanish wine versus others and brought pictures of wineries in Spain so that we could see exactly what he was referring to. The food pairing and dinner was excellent. The food items that he chose to pair with our wine were delicious and were the perfect foods to consume with the wine that we tasted. We would have never picked out such perfect pairings on our own, so we are grateful to have booked this tasting with Roger. If you are in Seville and looking for a wine tasting with excellent food then look no further than Roger and A Question of Taste.
Response from the operator: I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed the wine tasting dinner at El Rinconcillo. I hope that you are able to find plenty of Spanish wines to taste in your area.

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Seville.
How much does Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern cost?
+
Prices start at $183 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Seville usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Seville is not rushed.
Is Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Seville, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Seville can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Seville and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private wine tasting meals at Seville's oldest tavern start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Seville within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Seville?
+
On Outty we rank every Seville experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Seville Tapas Crawl Tour by Food Lover Tour, Seville: Paella & Tapas Cooking Class + Triana Market Tour, Sevilla Food Tour: Tapas, Wine, History & Traditions. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Seville?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Seville?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
